“Excellent value for money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2013

Top: amazing location for snorkelling straight from the beach and with manta and whale shark! Also a great white beach and relaxed atmosphere. Low season so it was not busy at all, perfect. Staff was very nice and available when needed. Very flexible in check in and check out times - probably due to low season where resort is not fully booked. Food ( buffet 3 times a day) is nice, food from all different places in the world. Indian food, fresh fish from the grill, and fresh lamb shanks from the grill were my favourites. Also, rooms are cleaned twice a day which is very convenient!
Tip: cannot think of any!

A holiday spent with my wife and 12 year old son in paradise . Away from the noise & distractions of city life ; in the serene surrounding of blue sea & white beach . It was a blissful experience of quality , uninterrupted family time with no TV , phone & computer .

The lagoon has a beautiful reef to snorkel or dive & amazing variety of fishes & reef sharks . Lovely white sandy beaches to laze away afternoon & enjoy the sunrise & sunset .

The food was of great quality & variety . The bar well stocked . The staff & other room guest were very friendly & felt at home .

We went on a full day snorkeling trip and swam with giant Manta ( sting ray) & tortoise & spotted dolphins .

The sea plane cost of 375 dollars a head was very steep . The resort should give at-least one bottle of water complimentary every day .

It's a very beautiful island. The resort is not very luxurious, but who cares! It is clean and nice and the staff is friendly and helpful. The buffet (full-board) is ok. Pasta, rice and pizza were a constant returner but everyone loved them.
Feeding the fish every morning at 9.30 was a great experience for the kids, so make sure you don't miss that. The rooms open directly on the beach. No TV in rooms, but we didnt mind as we were not there to watch TV, and also it made us get out of our rooms to mingle with the other guests. Ping-pong and pool tables available, and volley-ball games every afternoon. The beach and the sand were very clean, and the spa was nice experience too.
Only thing we didnt like is that WiFi was limited to common areas and sometimes connection was not very good.

Room Tip: Ask them for the rooms directly on the sandy beach. Our rooms were 38-39 and they were just amazing.

This very nice village is perfect for your dream holidays in Maldives. The price matches very good to the service and quality you will get in Ranveli. The resort has an own unbelieveble white beach with turquise water, that let you think if paradise exist, should really look exactly like this. The island is small but gives you the impression to be at a privat special place compared to the bigger neighbour islands in the area...The staff members from the resort are all very friendly, helpfull and always will try to satisfy any of your requests. I just can very recommend this wonderfull place to everyone who is coming to Maldives!!

We stayed for 5 days in Ranveli Village as a young couple and I would not recommend it. Although Maldives is a really nice place, this island is just not good enough even if the price looks cheaper than any other hotel/island in Maldives. The food is terrible: a buffet with basically pasta, pizzas and some grilled meats. No local food at all, The whole place looks old, from the 80's. It's dirty and there is no service at all. Bad experience.

Room Tip: all the rooms are the same

The island is extremely beautifull but the hotel is very basic, old with no night activities or recreations.
The water sports do not exist.
The food is primitive with no changes in the menu.
The language barrier is a big problem
The staff in the reception are very rude, mean and impolite.
