We were booked to stay between Christmas and New Year for a couple of nights. Upon arrival at the hotel, an hour after check-in time we were informed that the room was not ready and it would take another two hours. We were offered a complimentary coffee at the lounge as compensation. Instead we decided to cancel the reservation as a result of the delay. Too harsh you may be thinking but when you are paying for good accommodation you expect the service to match. Front desk staff were trying to cope well with understaffing in housekeeping.
We have stayed here before but would hesitate to stay again.

Very disappointing for the price, staff were not particularly friendly, no heating in the middle of winter (staff were wering fleeces) except in the rooms. Fairly noisy but no real facilities, messed up our booking etc, etc.

Wouldn't stay again, much better youth hostels for a lot less money.

Booked a weekend away at this hotel and booked a superior room. Got there only to find out all the superior rooms were taken and there was no record of us having booked via hotels on sale website. Told us they were upgrading us to a Deluxe Garden Room. I did not feel this was an upgrade. It was no better than a garden sleepout. Semi detached chalets with connecting doors to next room not my idea of superior or deluxe. Noise could be heard from people in next room - even talking. Restaurant was a little pricey as well. Would not stay here again at these prices. Looking around the area there seemed to be better accommodation to be had.

We booked with the entertainment book for 3 nights @ $115/night, which is excellent. Fantastic location, but.... our room was above conference centre and it was really noisy, had to call reception 3x for music to be turned off. They moved us to another room but the 3rd night was even worse!!! there was a school ball and the music was blaring til midnight. We were not advised of this, had we known, we wouldnt have stayed at the Heritage. Expected alot more of a hotel of this standard.
