“Old style and relaxing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

Great out of town place to stay, great rates and great facilities. Old style camp ground with good kitchen and laundry and of course good showers. Wonderful walking and cycling tracks through the neighbouring forest. Ideal spot for peace and quiet, just a few minutes out of lovely Hanmer Springs, easy walking distance if one so desires. Well worth a visit.

My first experience if a holiday park cabin. Found it very basic as expected for the low price, but had everything I needed. Kitchen and tv and comfortable bed.
Nice and quiet, undercover car parking Near cabin.
This is. A little out of town if walking but for cyclists and drivers it's not far to town and hot pools etc,

Have since stayed at a couple of more cabins and this one was a lot nicer than some of the others.

Spent one night there in a tent.
It cost us $22 for a tent and two occupants.
Staff were good.
Facilities were excellent.
A very quiet campsite.
We really enjoyed our stay there and would recommend. Plenty of wildlife around the park, birds and possums on a night which aren't a problem. They only come to look for food and are not a threat. All good fun.

Lee and Greg are brilliant in hosting and running this site, and so helpful in every way. Our en-suite apartment filled all our requirements, and we could quietly relax, or pop down the road to enjoy the Hot Pools. The site is very handy for the forest walks, and is surrounded by greenery. We would definitely recommend.

Room Tip: En-Suite rooms are good value for money and meet all your requirements

Fantastic campground; wonderful camaraderie without being too busy or noisy - fantastic facilities for camping (a few bbqs and a complete communal kitchenette). Fantastic value. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to take the kids camping there again (it was really easy camping at such a well serviced campsite with little kids). Forest walk from campsite to town a big plus too!!!

Room Tip: We stayed in a tent :)

We camped at Alpine Apartments for one night and what a fantastic spot! Nestled in the forest, plenty of camping spots to choose from and all the amenities you could need with nothing you don't. Was great being out of the busy town, but at only 5 minutes down the road it was still accessible. We loved that it was so close to all the beautiful forest walks. The owners were absolutely lovely! Will definitely be back :)
