We arrived to the Libert Hotel after a very relaxing 2 nights in Coche and spent 6 nights there just before Easter 2012 and had an enjoyable experience.
If you have travelled much in South America you will know consistently good breakfasts can be quite hard to come by, however these hit the spot day in day out, fried eggs, fruit, homemade muffins, toast, fresh juice, for those wanting to be more adventerous arepas and so on are also available, served from 7.30am-10am each day.
Although its a hotel there is a friendly famliy feel, with the owners living on site, both speak Spanish and excellent English, having lived and worked in hotels in England for 10 years.
All rooms have air con and 32'' lcd with direc tv, which means most channels can be watched in English via the settings on the remote. There was a high level of service from all staff, especially the unsung hereos like the room maid and breakfast chef, attention to detail across the board was impressive.
Evening food in the resturant is served to a high standard by an excellent evening chef from 5 - 10pm daily, mains are around $10 usd each, using the dollar parell rate, which is currently around 9, you can negotiate in advance with the owner if you wish to pay for rooms in euros or dollars.
If you had to find any negatives you could say the rooms are not the biggest, but were perfectly fine for us and the fact its not located on the beach might be a small downside for some, however its only a 2 minute walk and for us it was better than being located directly on the beach, which can be noiser at night. Personally i prefered Coche over Margarita, however the hotel made the stay a good one for us.
Finally one couldnt write a review without mentioning Luna the recently acquired golden labrador puppy, she is super cute and great fun.
