On a recommendation from a local, our party of 8 went to this restaurant. You would walk right by it as it's a souvenir shop in the front with the restaurant in the back. Luis, the owner, is a gem of a guy. So personable and accommodating. We ordered steamed lobster tails which were huge and probably half to a third of the price we would pay in NY. Cooked to perfection. The churrasco steak was wonderful and the best rice and beans in town. One in our group wanted chocolate ice cream for dessert. Excellent cheese flan Luis didn't have any and kept apologizing. We liked it so much we returned two nights later. When dessert time came, Luis place a half gallon on chocolate ice cream on our table! It was the birthday of one of the people in our party so he also brought out some coconut cake with a one of those birthday candles that can't be blown out. Charming restaurant, charming owner and great food!
