Just back from a weeks break. We were very impressed with the high standard of upkeep and cleanliness. We stayed in Maple Cottage. The little finishing touches like providing logs for the fire, dish washer tablets and tea & coffee making on arrival make it quite unique and special. There is every thing that you need...washing machine, dishwasher, games and a good selection of books and DVDs to borrow etc. It is walking distance from Ingleton and plenty to do in the day. I highly recommend it..very good value for money.

We stayed in Hornbeam cottage over the New Year and loved it. We received a very warm welcome from Sharon, especially our minitaure schnauzer. A perfect cottage, and we will definitely return - there's so much to do around here! It's a short walk into the village, and you can walk to Inglebrough from here.
We did the usual tourist stuff - White Scar caves; Inglebrough Cave; The Waterfall walk; Ribblehead viaduct; Kirkby Lonsdale etc...
I wish I was there now ...

Great place to stay, very clean very friendly and great value for money. Will be going back such a lovely area for walking, the wonderful Yorkshire dales and the Lakes on your doorstep. The log fires in the cottages are brilliant by the way.

We stayed in the Willow Cottage for a break away to complete the 3 peaks.

It really is perfect, rooms, location, facilities are just what you need. My only regret - not staying longer.

One bit of advise, after doing the 3 peaks on a Saturday, we came back to the cottage to shower and recover a little, before we headed out for fish and chips in Ingleton and were devastated the chip shuts at 8pm - chippy tea got everyone through the last few miles so we were gutted as we missed it by 15 minutes.

I would highly recommend the cottages for the 3 peaks or a break away.

Just returned from Beechtree Cottages after a brilliant long weekend break! The modern accommodation is fantastic - spotlessly clean, excellent location within walking distance to Ingleton Village, all necessary amenities to make it 'home from home', superb personal touches like access to the 'office', offering a wide choice of DVD's, books, children's toys and places of interest leaflets and tea & biscuits on arrival, after a long journey! The accommodation provides an excellent base to explore the surrounding area and Peaks, allowing you to relax in comfort in the evening. I had no problem with road noise and we slept with windows open during the night, as we were lucky enough to have lovely warm weather over the weekend. I would definitely recommend Beechtree Cottages and will be returning when my Partner tackles the 3 Peaks Chalenge next year! See you again soon Beechtree :-)

We stayed in Holly Cottage, which has a double and a twin room. It was the wettest weekend of the year but we still had a lovely time, hadn't really expected to be huddled in front of the stove but it was nice to have the option. The cottages are modern, no fussy touches, just simple rustic styling. There is a downstairs cloakroom housing the boiler which is ideal for drying muddy boots and coats, or on a longer stay, drying laundry. The kitchen was well equipped and fresh, milk, tea and coffee were provided on arrival. I don't understand some of the other complaints, road noise was not a problem and the owners simply ask that you leave the place clean as opposed to filthy, I think most holiday lets would expect that of their tenants. The owners seem to have gone to a lot of trouble to provide DVDs, games etc and were very friendly and approachable. Would stay again.

We visited Ingleton Falls Walk and also Ingleborough Cavern in Clapham. This is a lovely wall from a lovely village, through a nature reserve to the cavern entrance. Caves well worth a visit and then you can continue your walk to Gaping Ghyll to see the river disappearing down a massive hole into the caves, quite a spectacle.
