Stopped here for two coffees and a toasted tea cake. Should have gone elsewhere. Nothing special for the mega prices and we were overcharged by £2. We were charged a tenner when the bill should have been £8. £8 for two coffees and a teacake!!
A few days later we enjoyed a massive plate of home-cooked ham, chips and salad for £7.90 in a posh Lakeland pub and reflected on what the £8 got us in the tea room.
At least Dick Turpin wore a mask!
Still, a lesson learnt - avoid the Beck in future and look elsewhere...
