“So relaxing and friendly!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

A very relaxing few days with my husband. Heather and Duncan were charming and very hospitable. Beautiful cottage, delicious breakfast. The bedroom was cosy and warm. Lots to do in the area. The jurassic coast is under half an hour where we had some lovely walks.

Room Tip: Quite village and both rooms had views over the garden.

My wife and I had a two night stay in this beautiful thatched cottage in the lovely surroundings of Bere Regis. Heather and Duncan both made us feel very welcome. One of the reasons that we chose Honeycomb Cottage is that we wanted somewhere that we could also take our two Cavalier Spaniels and as Heather welcomes well behaved dogs, this made it the perfect choice for us.
The weather during our stay was fantastic and we were able to enjoy our delicious traditional breakfast outside in Heather and Duncan's stunning garden.
We stayed in the room off the kitchen with the en-suite bathroom, which had great views over the gardens and we found it very comfortable. We would whole heatedly recommend Honeycomb Cottage to anyone wanting to stay in a Dorset thatched cottage!

Myself and young son had the pleasure staying in this lovely cottage whilst visiting local attractions within the area. Monkey World and Bovington Tank Museum were a few minutes down the road.
The cottage was beautiful and the owner was fantastic, we felt like we was staying with a loving relative.
My son especially loved their dog :) and picking fruit from the garden.

We would highly recommend you book a stay here and you wont be dissappointed.

A wonderful thatched cottage set in a very picturesque place, a real piece of England. Heather offered us a warm welcome and made us feel at home for our 2 night stay.

We stayed in the room with en-suite which was extremely homely and comfortable; it was also nicely contained as it has its own staircase off the kitchen. After a great night's sleep, breakfast was fantastic and I would recommend the homemade marmalade, living up to the cottage's name, there was also honey from Heather's own bees. A short walk to into the village are the Drax Arms and the Royal Oak, both are good for food. I would recommend Honeycombe Cottage to anyone; it’s a good location for visiting the Tank Museum or Monkey World.

Booked just one night at this gorgeous cottage. What can I say, absolutely stunning cottage. Heather is a lovely lady and made us very welcome with a cup of tea sat in her beautiful garden in glorious sunshine. We stayed in the bedroom with ensuite and this was lovely with views of the gorgeous garden. Breakfast was equally as great. Would highly recommend this cottage. Just a shame we had to leave. Thanks Heather for a very warm welcome into your home. Carolyn and Andy.

The service we received was fantastic, Heather is extremely friendly and a great cook! We had a very enjoyable 2 day break in the very pretty cottage, we stayed in the west bedroom and slept soundly both nights in a very comfortable bed. Highly recommended B&B.

We stayed in both bedrooms in Honeycomb cottage and the east bedroom is much nicer, more room and on en suite.
The west bedroom is fine but the private bathroom is tiny with a shower that has no power or volume of water. Heather was very welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. There are several good places to eat in the area and heather is happy to recommend and book them for you
Overall we would have no problems recommending Honeycomb cottage
