“Wedding Weekend”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2013 via mobile

I had a very friendly welcome on my arrival at the copper kettle. My room was extremely clean and modern with everything I needed including a wall mounted flat screen tv, tea/coffee making facilities with biscuits and a fridge with complementary chilled water and milk.
The view outside the window of kynance allowed me to watch the world go by and the locals go about their day.
The location was perfect. Within walking distance of local amenities including pubs and restaurants.
For breakfast I had a full English which was more than satisfactory. The dining room was bright and airy.
The hosts were more than accommodating towards myself, my wife and other members of our wedding party.
If I come back to Porthleven I will be sure to stay here.

We could not fault this lovely B & B! The decor has been beautifully updated by the new owners and reflects their wish to please. Our room was light and spacious and the breakfast was beautifully cooked and served with a smile. One of the best we've stayed at and we will most definitely return as soon as we can, provided of course it doesn't prove so popular that we can't get in!!

Stayed at The Copper Kettle for only one night but thoroughly enjoyed it! We were running late for the check in as we got slightly delayed on our trek from Penzance. Contacted the managemenet of the place and there was no problem at all for a late check in.
The place is brand new, spotless and the breakfast is lovely! We stayed in Rinsey room with en-suite bathroom and a king size bed - what a treat!
Location is perfect - a minute walk from the harbour.
Overall, the place is clean, modern, the breakfast is great quality and the management are really friendly! Definitely recommended! Will stay again when in Porthleven!

We stayed in the Praa twin room and we loved the beautiful decoration and friendliness of Roanna. The room was nice, clean, modern and comfy. Same for the private bathroom on the landing. Very good cooked breakfast.
Parking spaces available next to the B&B or in the street nearby.

Loved this place straight away. We had the Rinsey room which had an extra room and an en suite. Great location only a short walk to the harbour. Room had some really great touches and our host was lovely. Can't fault in any shape or form. Already planning our next trip. Stayed for 3 nights and only wish we could have stayed for longer. Parking on site with lovely breakfast!! Understand this is a new business bur certainly can't fault!

Very clean and tidy, well equipped, and in a great location. We received a warm welcome and were shown to our room straight away despite arriving late. The room was very modern with a comfy bed, nice new furniture and a nice modern bathroom. Breakfast was delicious (full english + cereal/toast) and the owner was very friendly and accomodating. On site parking was very convenient and the location couldn't be better. I will definitely be staying here again next time I go to this part of Cornwall.

Room Tip: The large family room has a private bathroom and easily sleeps 4 (2 Adults +2 children)

This B & B was just lovely - beautifully furnished, comfortable bed and the host was very friendly and welcoming. We did have a private bathroom which meant going across the landing to our toilet and shower but this did not bother us. It is in a great location and the breakfast was very tasty with a good selection. My only suggestion would be to have a fan for the bedroom as it did get very hot and there were not many windows that could be opened. Would definitely recommend staying here.
