Scud was flowing, sun was beating down, and the hotel, wowser! Staff - incredibly friendly and kent how tae get the party started! Train bus - lovely wee touch, genuinely felt as if you were on a real train, woo woo! Food - must of done about 15 gammon toasties at the pool side one day, no kidding, absolute bliss! Water Polo - brilliant, the guy organising kept calling me 'Cannon Arm', nearly burst the net on one occasion! Overall, had a great time and will be back!

i came with my wife for a week on the 31st may, we found the staff really friendly and they were very helpful, always going out of their way.
The rooms very cleaned to a high standard.
We can't thank the reception and bar staff enough for making our stay most enjoyable.
We would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the resort.

Not long returned from this weeks holiday, the ATC strike in France caused some delay but that takes nothing away from this hotel. This hotel can give you a cheap week away in the sun. Staff are very friendly and accommodating, rooms are good and the buffet style food was ok too. Good snacks also. Entertainment every night, or relax outside and watch the world go bye. Beer was good (Amstel), wine ok too. Spirits a bit weak for me. Free regular bus ride to town centre or beach but if you fancy a walk it is about 10 mins (with my little legs) . I would go back again.

stayed here 1st 2 weeks of june and even though i had my wallet stolen by 2 pickpockets(just be careful at all times) i did not let this spoil my holiday. after getting over this initial mishap enjoyed everything about this hotel. yes a bit dated and cramped in rooms, you get beds for 4 even if only 2 in room, but ample space to sleep and relax. all staff were great, cleaners, bar staff, entertainment and reception.bit of a shambles in morning trying to get sunbed. there are plenty but all locked until 8.30 so always a queue. never had to do this before but if you cant beat them you have to join them, quite funny really. food was good. a bit repetitive but never went hungry. food at pool bar good, so basically you can eat from 7.45 am to 9 pm and drink from 10 am to midnight. who could complain?lots of hen dos and large parties so never quiet but all over by 12 had room 211 overlooking pool, very quiet. would def. recommend this hotel, good value for money and will be back. temperature was low 20sand we didnt need a/c as our room was always cool so dont know what it would be like if any warmer

Room Tip: any pool view room away from reception area is good.

Very clean
In need of air con & face lift in the rooms
Some staff appear rude but I think it's just their way
Main bar staff very funny & happy
Blue Lagoon (Blue Racoon) cocktails were great
The French bikers we met were lovely
Great mix of party goers
Watch out for the jacuzzi .. Smells a bit funny
Food was plentiful and fresh
No breakfast on departure day, not even a brew but vending machine outside 4 water
room tax per person per night .50 which we were unaware of
You have to pay for iron/deposit box/fan etc
All in all cheap & cheerful & the girls I went with made it

We have just returned from an all inclusive week at the Santa Susanna Resort hotel. I too, like many other "trippers" had misgivings about going to the hotel. These were totally unfounded. On arrival the reception staff were brilliant, we travelled with my partners brother and wife, had booked our holidays separately but the staff put us in rooms next door to each other which was what we had hoped for.
In answer to some of the remarks - "Rude Staff" - totally not rude, they were really nice, friendly and had a laugh with the guests, Simon in the restaurant was a lovely young man, he cleared the tables continually and had time to talk to us and other guests.
The food was typical 3 star Spanish "fayre" but there was something suitable for everyone at every meal - no complaints from all 4 of us all week, for the price paid it was an absolute bargain.
The rooms are cleaned daily with new towels and beds made, my only "gripe" would be the lack of Air Con but we took a small fan so overcame that issue. The hotel is continually being cleaned and was absolutely spotless.
There is a free "happy train" into town and that was a great way to travel.
Overall we had no complaints at all and can only say good things from our experience - well recommended.

Room Tip: We had rooms on hte 4th floor at teh back of the hotel - no noise as such and an ok view.
