“Food not Spanish”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013

The food on offer all seemed to be aimed at a German palette. If I had wanted all that schwinen I would have gone to Germany.

“Its ok”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

Rooms: not bad, got airco, shower/bathtub combo, bidet for the french ;), nice balcony
Food: every day different food to choose from, happens often that they forget the sign, thats where i accidentally ate some liver, yuck
Don't have any other complaints.
Be sure to try their "cava" at the bar!
Activity: when i was there they had shows every night, from parrot shows to salsa dancin
They have a nice pool and a lil playground for the children as well as some pooltables and arcadegames.
Staff: The guys at the bar where nice (maybe cuz of our tips ;p ), the people behind the reception where not so happy, promised us a room to store our suitcases in at the day we had to leave (offcourse not for free), later on they said it was all full.
So that was less fun as we where with 15 ppl
Ow yeah, the "animacion" guy looks like a weird creep on drugs. Maybe cuz an old intern told us she had to dance for him to show if she has got what it takes :/
Location: near the beach! Alot of things to do and see on the blvd, not far from trainstation (easy acces to barcelona)
Want to have a dance? Next door u can find disco QK, we had a good time there.
Best place for groceries would be the "carre four" that u can reach by walking towards the mountains.
Conclusion: great place, next time we might consider to take a different hotel

“The Spanish have stopped trying”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2013 via mobile

The hotel Is In a great position handy for the beach and great for people watching from the patio bar. When we arrived we had 4 In our party we had to pay €14 up front before we could get our hotel room (key) card. This Is the new Catalan tax which was passed In November 2012 for holiday makers.Just like the banking crisis In England Joe Public Is having all the pain whilst they carry on regardless. So Spain Is In a mess financially so the holiday maker has to pull them out of It.The hotel was full of East Europeans In speedos (I kid you not)like the Spanish they buy very little drinks Its left to the British to get the tills ringing.A Spanish family even brought In beer and soft drinks from the supermarket and sat all evening watching the entertainment no wonder the hotels are struggling. There has been much said about the 2 attractive ladies on reception on other posts And I can confirm they are very sulky and I never saw them smile once but we had a problem with the air- con and the room phone and It was dealt with efficiently. The food I don't know where to start. You could come In at breakfast and not find a table when you did there was dirty plates etc there was not enough staff to clean up.we also had Lunch and dinner most of the time when we had our pudding we still had our soup and dinner plates on our table. The chef's would come out and top up the potato but alongside It there would be no meat left we had plenty potato bring the meat out.No one was In charge they need a Maitre'D to organise what tables need cleaning and what food Is getting low.Twice whilst we were there for breakfast they had a roasted green pepper which no-one went near there will have been no- one In charge who would have said "look no-one Is eating this we are throwing It away twice a week lets put something different on"Our Grandaughter and her friend came with my wife and myself we had a room overlooking the kitchens the furniture Is chipboard and of poor quality but It was clean. Our Grandaughters room overlooked the pool and had a better and modern bathroom but the door was damaged and a lock and handle Into the bathroom had been repaired but looked amateurish and not just right. The bar staff were great. The price of a pint of San Miguel was €2.60 which was a great price for a great drink. We came to Santa Susanna 3 years ago and every where you went the price of a pint was €3.30 even In the British bars on Trip advisor I said It was almost like a cartel where everyone had got together and agreed that was the price they were going to charge the holiday maker.I mentioned at the time bar standing around with nothing to do because no one was buying(except the Brits)
€2.60 tells me they have learned a painful lesson. The dining room might not be a problem out of season but In July August stay clear. The weather for the end of August was disappointing 3 sunny days 1 rainy day 3 cloudy days but very warm.

“Looked Great, no service - too busy”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2013

Awful experience here. Found a table, managed to get a drink and then waiter never returned to get food order, Staff to busy to serve, sat waiting for 20 mins before walking out. Shame.
