“It`s all about what you are looking for.....”

First of all...this is a timeshare place which can be easily booked through ownerdirect.com or direcltly. If you are here in the summer...absolutely perfect...in the winter period it`s a no go simply becuase of too much wind. What I like about this place is.....it is quiet, loads of space, loads of sun lounchers, fantastic pool area, live guard, prefectly kept in every way, the small cafe at the pool is okat but could shape their service up a bit, small kiosko outside for convenience shopping and a small restuarant. Very close to Los Abrigos, nice small harbour village with loads of great fish restaurants....La Langostera being your best choise...and if you continue driving you will find La Tajita which is the biggest natural beach on the island. You will need to hire a car if you stay here....app. 20 euro/day......but if I was going on a summer holiday to Tenerife...especially with kids...this would be my absolute favourite. You play golf?....San Andres is situated in the middel of the course...enjoy:-)...

We have just got back from an amazingly relaxing fortnight at San Andres (aka Royal Tenerife Country Club). We booked direct through Vanessa at Villasngolf who was incredibly helpful. She even managed to find us an extra night to allow us to book more convenient flights. We stayed the first week in a villa facing west and the second week in one facing east at the opposite end of the complex - both were lovely. The entire site is beautifully maintained, very clean and the pools gorgeous. The villas are great and the photos on the web site do represent truthfully what you'll find. One tip: we took Vanessa's advice on car hire and used Autoreisen at the airport - cheap, efficient and we even got an upgrade on the car. This was great for the second week as we could explore the island more fully - Loro Parque is a great day out but do go early. Do also try the Teide tours that you can book though the resort reception (who are also very helpful). We liked having two restaurants on site but there are also some good ones in San Blas and Golf del Sur. The beach by Montana Roja is brilliant for wave hopping in the early evenings, and Los Gigantes (with very cheap boats trips to see dolphins) is worth a visit too. We thoroughly recommend the San Andres villas. It was our first time in Tenerife, and we were all impressed by how unspoilt the region around Golf del Sur is.

Room Tip: Villas facing west have less noise from aircraft and morning shade + evening sun, but the views from...

Been to the same villa twice and looking forward to booking for next year. Villasngolf are an excellent company to deal with and nothing is a hassle for them. The pools are great and there are loads of loungers to go round everyone. The on site resturants are good with Cafe Med being the best out of the 2. The scottish breakfast is wonderful

We booked this villa through villasngolf - Vanessa was excellent and answered all our queries both before we went and while we were there. The 2 bedroomed villa itself was clean and spacious with a lovely patio area overlooking golf course and the sea. The pool (one was heated) area was the exceptionally clean and well cared for with excellent sun loungers. The snack bar on site was average we didn't try the bistro. There are several restaurants in the San Blas area (about a twenty minute walk from the villas) which are very 'touristy'. It is definitely worth the extra ten minute walk to Los Abrigos to try the more 'local' fish restaurants, taxi back was only 6 euros. There is one large supermarket a fifteen minute walk away, if you dont have a car walk there and get a taxi back. It is definitely worth going if you want a sunny relaxing break away from the main resorts of Tenerife.

Room Tip: choose your villa depending on which location is important to you I.e. poolside view/ sea view/ view...

You can rent villas and apartments here from "villasngolf" whose office is based in the resort. They give an excellent and caring service. The villas are spotlessly clean. 2 bedroom villas consist of a double and a twin room, 2 bathrooms/shower rooms, a lounge and a patio area for sunbathing. There are 3 pools, one for children which are fabulous. There are also 2 on-site restaurants, El Inti which serves cheap but good quality snacks and main meals and the more expensive Cafe Med which serves excellent steaks. Both are very welcoming. It is a 20 minute walk to the nearest restaurants and you can walk the whole area in an hour. Overall, it's a great place to relax (if you don't mind some aircraft noise) although the weather here can be atypical for Tenerife with rather more cloud than you would normally expect.

Room Tip: Choose a west facing patio villa if you prefer the afternoon sun.
