“Best steaks in town!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2013 via mobile

Six of us went here for dinner and the food, service and atmosphere was fantastic! It was one of our groups birthday and the staff bent over backwards to make our visit an enjoyable one! We had steaks, fajitas and tacos all of which were delicious! Enjoyed our visit so much we returned the following evening.

“Very disappointed”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

Have eaten in this restaurant many times while on holiday, and was looking forward to my ribs and home made chips. So disappointing to discover no ribs and no real chips! Apparently the restaurant was taken over by the Barbacoa last year and the food has gone downhill dramatically. Staff are still great but we will not be eating here again

“very disappointed!!!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2013

I had been looking forward to visiting this restaurant for quite a while, had recommended it to so many people and kept my own visit for a special treat for my 40th birthday given the prices were among the most expensive in all of puerto rico. well i thought it'd be worth the added expense. How wrong can one person be???? Initially the waiter was friendly, all smiles and bon homie. once we sat down though he seemed to lose all interest and quickly moved on to the next unsuspecting punter, squeezing them in to the already overcrowded restaurant. we waited ten minutes to place our order and a further half hour till our starters arrived. I wish they hadn't bothered. my wife and i both had a light garlic bread, with cheese and tomato topping, mine was both burnt and cold!!!! my wifes was simply cold! i sent mine back, was offered no apology, a mere shrug and asked if i wanted another. No thanks. Having waited so long, I decided to go straight to the main. A simple steak, medium to well done, potatoes and veg. They brought a charred steak, six small potatoes and what looked like an afterthought of mixed veg on the side!!! again it was sent back, again i was looked at as if it was my fault, given no apology and a desultory offer of it redone, given my company was now half way through theirs, and would have been finished by the time mine arrived, and given the chef had managed to burn the two simplest things on the menu, i again said no. So, if you want to be overcharged, ignored, kept waiting and running the risk of leaving hungrier than when you arrived, el braserro is the place for you, if not, give it a wide bearth and don't be fooled by it's fancy exterior.

“Friendly Waiter and Welcoming”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013

We only ate here at lunch time but enjoyed it immensely. So much so we went back on our last day as we knew it would be good.
The young lad waiting on was very friendly and helpful. He's good with the kids as he's a young one of his own.
The Cajun Chicken is lovely and a very good portion size. Great value for money.
