The hotel is located on a nice and not very crowded beach, 35 min walk from the center of Rota. The rooms are quite old but well-maintained and clean. The swimming pool is not heated, so keep it in mind in case you go there off season and would like to swim (we were there the first week of May, the air temperature was 20-24, the temperature of the ocean was 17.5, the water in the swimming pool was ok for a 3 min swim but not for a longer stay). I had an impression that the hotel was not working at a full strength: there were still some renovating works going on. The food in the restaurant was average (for dinner), though we really liked the breakfast, especially we loved the coffee (never tasted such a marvelous one). The staff was responsive and friendly, spoke english, but several times they gave us a misleading information about the schedule of the local buses which was disappointing. For those who want to rent a car, be aware that it is almost impossible to find a car with an automatic gear in Rota (we called 5 local renting offices and didn't manage to find a car with such a gear).
