“Fantastic Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2014

Our family of 4 flew overnight and then drove from Rome getting to our B and B in Panzano 3 hours prior to our 9pm reservation. That and our very high expectations was a set up for disappointment. That did not happen.
As we walked up the street we ran into Dario drinking a glass of wine and taking pictures with customers. This set the tone for a great night. We shared a table with 10 other diners from 3 different countries and enjoyed a wonderful family style meal. For 30 Euros a person this was a great deal even taking into account that we were with our 12 and 14 year old kids.
Had no problems making reservations on line about a month in advance.
You would not want to eat this way every night but this is a meal not to be missed if you are near Panzano.

“Amazing experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2014

They serve a menu of five dishes, all meat. Everything is really special and tasty.
If you are a meat lover, don't miss this experience.

“this is a tourist trap!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2014

I had a bad experience.
They put you in a big room with a long table and serve meat..
The meat was not good and at the and of the meal they send you in an other room for
coffee..
They use the drip coffee maker, not the machine that is used at the coffee bar.
A truly tourist trap.

“Unique and flavorful dining experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2014 via mobile

Thus is a unique dinner unlike the average trattoria, Osteria, or whatever casual dining experience we had on Italy. The enterprise is committed to filling you with parts of the steer otherwise not readily consumed and or in preparations unfamiliar to the norm of family dining. We shared a table for 14 with another party of two and eventually a party of three that arrived late. We were five. Dining with strangers in a convivial atmosphere is fun! This space is quite attractive.

The braised beef and the roast beef were excellent, the tartare was fine. The brodo with muzzle is a bit ethereal, but not in an exceptional way, merely hot and beefy. Certainly, no one goes hungry, or should. They provided more, if asked. Only additional wine brings an additional charge.

Coupled with a lovely drive into the Chianti countryside, this is a fun, engaging meal. We met the maestro in his shop across the street and tried lardo for the first time. If you try this experience, you shan't regret going.

“Only meat for lunch!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2014

One of the best meat you can ever eat! Cooked in very different way and there are a lot of variety of pieces! The lunch is so long and the food is in huge quantity that is almost impossible that you will be hungry after! Everything is very delicious! The staff is kind and helpful: they really make you comfortable! It could be expensive, but it is totally worthy for the high quality of the meat you taste! You definitely have to try at least once, and I can assure you that you will not regret it and you will remember it for the rest of your life!
