The views from our balcony were simply breath taking. It dosent matter how many times you here it, its TRUE. We were so happy with our accomodation, just what we expected. The place was lovely, clean, comfortable and very reasonable in price. Its not in the madness of the main town but its within walking distance. What will stand out for me about Irinis is our lovely host. She would wait for us to ring her every morning that we had awoke, she would then bring to our balcony our breakfast. She would climb a large sum of stairs, place the tray on a table and knock on the door with "kalimera". We would roll out of bed and onto the balcony and just stare out over at the view, take a deep breath, and just keep looking out in disbelief.

This is a hidden gem in Santorini Island. We looked at a few hotels in the island and this one came up. We emailed the hotel and got a great rate and the hotel picked us up at the port. The owner is very friendly and speaks really good English.

We had the best room with a view that was amazing. The owner (Irini) helped us to get a scooter from her friend and we used that to travel around the entire island.

Villa Irini is very clean and spacious and has a tiny kitchen if you want to make some breakfast. Has a bakery 2 minutes down the road and a Mexican restaurant as well. 5 minutes on the road is the market, the bank and everything else you need.

Since its a family run place it just felt so homely and safe. I would recommend this place to anyone without hesitation.

Watching the sunset over this place was just breath taking... amazing views... Thier website photos are real... What you see is what you get.. and for the price this place is a Gem hidden in the Aegean Sea.

We just arrived home from our trip through the Greek Islands. We traveled as a group, two couples. It was fantastic: Mykonos, Naxos, Santorini then Athens. We are late 20's/early 30's and like to have fun. Santorini was by FAR our favorite island. Irini's was by FAR the best rental we had. The veiw from our balcony was the most amazing view of any place on the island and we ate all of our dinner meals there (there was a kitchenette on site). There was a market right near by that had a great vibe and good ingredients for us to make wonderful dinners for cheap on our balcony. The location was ideal, as well. A short 15 minute walk (downhill to town, by the way) to Fira had you in the middle of everything and allowed you to go back to your secluded balcony at night. Granted, the breakfasts weren't similar American "bacon and eggs", but they were served on our balcony every morning....can't complain about that! Also, by renting the 4-person room (room #1), we paid LESS THAN $100 Euro a couple per night. With the amount we saved on dinners, breakfasts and the room together, we were able to rent a nice car and explore the rest of the island and have lavish lunches.

My wife and I have traveled a lot in our lives and stayed at lots of different places, we couldn't give more rave reviews about Irini's that would do it justice.

We were sold a bill of goods by an Athenian travel agent (recommended to us by a friend!) She flashed photos of Irini's Villas Resort, and she told us it was "luxurious." When we arrived, the room, which does have an amazing view, was about at the level of a Motel 6. It was clean and serviceable, but certainly not worth what we paid (over $200 a night which is more than their usual rate!) I called both the travel agent and the owner and both refused to give us a refund. The breakfast is bread, sliced cheese and butter and jam and coffee or tea and some kind of Tang type o.j. Check their web page. I never saw the room in the photos, but our room even looked good in the pictures we saw! Uncomfortable beds and hand held shower. The village is a 15 minute walk uphill, and besides shopping and looking at the view, there is nothing much to do on Santorini. This was the only time we did something spontaneous. My mistake! We stayed our two nights--the sadder but wiser girls!
