“LOVED EVERYTHING !!!!!!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2011

This hotel was quite possibly one of the best hotels I have stayed in anywhere in Europe. We arranged a 3 night stay with transportation through Angela. When we arrived to the port, a nice taxi driver was holding a sign with our name. Upon arrival to the hotel, we did not even have to find reception, a luggage porter greeted us at the parking lot and took our bags to our room (stopping to show us the pool first). When we arrived to our room, Chris greeted us and instead of asking for a credit card or any check in procedure, simply asked us what welcome drink we would like. We asked for a glass of champagne and were treated with a full bottle of champagne, as well as a homemade sweet. Each night we stayed on our balcony to watch the sunset, we were given a glass of wine and a snack. Breakfast was phenomenal served on our private terrace with a view of the sea.

If you are in Santorini DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT stay anywhere else. This hotel is simply delightful and should I ever be lucky enough to return to Santorini, I will stay here for sure. This is a place you defenitley need to stay for a romantic getaway.

We spent three wonderful nights here on our honeymoon in the greek islands. Words cannot describe how much we loved this place. We found it based on recommendations from a friend and other tripadvisor listings, and it was even better than we expected. The service is phenomenal - very professional and warm. The rooms all have personal balconies with complete, unobstructed views of the most beautiful view on earth (I'm sure of it!). The rooms are impeccably cleaned every day, with a lot of attention to details. There are many lovely touches here, including the complimentary welcome drink and the complimentary evening snack at sunset. Stay here, I see no reason to stay anywhere else! Also, Imerovogli is by far the best town to stay in on Santorini. Fira and Oia are very busy and commercial. Though fun to wander around them once, they are too busy and commercial if you are looking for a romantic and relaxing time in the most beautiful place on earth. Also, there are frequent city buses that link all the towns, making transportation between them very easy.

Room Tip: All the rooms here have great balconies and views.

Trust me when I say we are hard to please when it comes to holiday accomodation but this place is class. Personal service, high quality rooms (we stayed in the White suite) and perfect location with unbelievable views that none of the pictures in here do justice to. Quality restaurants in walking distance (20 mins) and amazing sunsets. Perhaps a touch pricey but probably better than the typical going rate in this location (it's just expensive). We will definitely be back next time we're in santorini.

Booked Artemis Villas based on reviews from TA as well as being within our budget for this side of the island. We couldn't have picked a better spot. Rooms were immaculate, we stayed in a junior suite and a studio over the week we were there, both were more than adequate and offered the spectacular view of the Skaros, Caldera and of course the sunset. As previous reviewers have mentioned what sets Artemis Villas apart from any other place I have stayed was the unprecendented level of hospitality. Chris and Angela couldn't have made us feel more welcome, to compliment their friendly conversation, advice and welcome sunset food treats, they have a small but excellent set of staff. Top tip - flip flops will only get you so far on the cliff top walk to Fira, take something sturdier.

Room Tip: Looking for something simple go for the studio, it has everything you would need and with that spect...

I find it very difficult to find the words to explain how amazing this place is... My Wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in August 2011 as the first part of our honeymoon, and to say it is amazing really does not do it justice. The family run business is not your run of the mill hotel, it is much more than that. They have 10 rooms of which are located in a cliffside with the most fabulous view of the Caldera. Each room has its own balcony and magnificent view of the sunset in the evening. We were very fortunate to have room 113 which is located at the top, just underneath the swimming pool and sun bathing deck. The room is wonderfully decorated, with an amazing bed and furniture. Each morning we had breakfast brought up to our room by one of the 3 hard working staff (Eddie, Gazi & Julietta), they simply knocked the door to let us know that breakfast was on our balcony, we would open the door and sit on the balcony with the most amazing view of the caldera. We also had a jacuzzi on our balcony of which is optional. The owners Angela & Chris are simply lovely people and cannot do enough to make your stay as amazing as possible. Each evening we were treated by the wonderful Angela & Chris to some culinary delights and some wine to enjoy the sunset on our balcony. We were also brought a bottle of complimentary champagne on our first night.

Everyday, both Angela & Chris would give us their recommendations on where to visit on the island, and their advice on the best food to eat in the evening. We were never disappointed and we both ate like royalty each night. One of the days we explored the island by car, and the day before Angela arranged a car for us which was 30 Euros for 24 hours. The car was brought to us which made it all very easy. Getting around is very easy, you can walk to Fira within 20 mins (Which is all downhill from imerovigli), then a taxi back to Imerovigli is only 5 Euros if you do not fancy the walk back.

There are other resorts in the same area of which are far more expensive and do not offer the personal service that we received. Angela & Chris have got this place exactly right. They offer a room service to both your room and the pool area by simply calling them, and the snacks and drinks are extremely reasonable. (We looked at a few other hotels in the same area and checked the menus to be nosy, and the prices were ridiculous).

We really recommend this place, and we hope to re-visit soon. Thank you to Angela, Chris and their amazing staff for everything they did to ensure our honeymoon was extremely memorable.

Dear friends,
We have stayed at Artemis Villa for 5 nights and it was fantastic. I cannot find the right words to express our feelings. Angela and Chris did all their best to make our holiday unforgettable. Service was excellent; staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in Honeymoon suite, the room is great and really romantic with canopy bed and wall painted with clouds and Angels. Every morning we enjoyed having breakfast at our open terrace with breathtaking view to Volcano and yachts sailing by. Breakfast was very rich and delicious and we savoured the flavour of each mouthful. Every evening before sunset staff served us some snack and vine and we admired sunset sipping delicious traditional Santorini vine. Chris recommended us a few good restaurants nearby and made reservation for us at our request. On my birthday they decorated our room with flowers and presented with cake and bottle of champagne. It is really unforgettable. I thank Angela and Chris for every thing and I would like to return there some day.

My husband and I were welcomed by Chris and his staff. The day we arrived, we were greeted with such hospitality. Anything we needed, the staff went beyond our expectations. We stayed in he honeymoon suite. Amazing views from our balcony. The special touches were having breakfast on our balcony, seeing the creation of sculpted towels displayed on our bed. Most of all, they let us use a room since we were departing late in the day, mad our last day hassle-free. Highly recommend this hotel for a romantic getaway. Not your Carriben type vacation but the views and sunsets are the best I've seen ever. There is a lot of climbing on this island, not recommended with anyone with bad knees!
