“Sooo Disappointing”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW

Hotel with beautiful views but service is awful and really spoiled our honeymoon.
We were supposed to have free pick-up from the airport and I sent them an email with our travel information, no one was there to pick us up and their excuse was "we didn't send you a confirmation for pick-up".
Once we managed to get to the hotel, our room wasn't ready and we could check in 1 hour after check in time. In the meantime, they let us waiting with no excuse and no refreshment.
Many other small disappointment that I won't mention regarding the service. I think this hotel isn't worth the price they charge you and if I was to come back to Santorini, I'd definitely pick another one.
After I must say that the room was nice and had breathtaking views. A real shame that the service doesn't follow...

Don't let the complimentary bottle of wine fool you. This place is a dump. I have read all the extremely positive reviews for this hotel and all I can say is that this place must have changed hands in recent months. There is an air of incompetence and confusion everywhere. After being made to order your breakfast choices the night before, you will find that they bring you the wrong food. Coffee is routinely served ice cold. If something goes wrong (in our case no hot water), no one seems to know how to fix it. I'm paying over 1000 euros per night and there isn't even a dresser or drawer or shelf to put my clothes on, so I'm living out of a suitcase! My heart goes out to the staff, who are working desperately to maintain a sense of calm. What was to be the highlight of my Greek dream vacation has suddenly soured. Even the bathroom is a problem. There's no privacy. There's a window over the toilet and the door doesn't fit the doorway so the sound floats right into the room. OY!!!!

We had a great honeymoon at this hotel.
The staff very friendly and helpful especially Netelly, who was always ready to help with a smile on his face.
The views and facilities were fantastic.
In room breakfast was lovely.

Room Tip: Get the rooms with private pool

Santorini is one of the most beautiful places and islands i have ever been to. Outstanding landscape. Right up on a cliffside pegasus hotel offers amazing view, tranquillity and a really good opportunity to capture great photos... Our room was exactly the same with the one we saw on the internet right before we book it. The breakfast in our balcony (sometimes delayed),the jacuzzi in our room and all the hotel facilities were more than satisfactorily!! The only negative cloud will be the wifi...for sure. Try and fix it. It's a serious issue. Apart from that the whole ecperience was great and the staff of the hotel really helped to that. They're all friendly in professional terms and we really liked it. The pool staff, the housekeeping ladies staff that were cleaning all the time and ofcourse the front desk staff, Cristina your smile made us forget all the stairs...you're truly adorable and amusing (thanks also for solving our jacuzzi mystery...), made our stay memorable. You've been really helpful. Thanks to all of you and we just hope that we will be back someday with our whole family to enjoy!!!

Our last stop on our Greece adventure was Santorini, and this spot was the perfect location.

We stayed in a Honeymoon Jacuzzi Suite, which was perfect for what we were looking for. The hot tub was always warm and the sun loungers were a perfect place to read, relax, and take in the stunning views. You could see the famous Santorini sunset from our balcony!

The room was nice and spacious and the bed was VERY comfortable. They do offer free wifi, but it's pretty spotty...which is to be expected since you're cliffside on an island. But, why bother being online when the views are so dazzling? The best part of our stay would have to be the breakfast that's included. They provide you with a form to fill out with your breakfast selections that are to be delivered on your balcony the next day. The food was DELICIOUS, and we ordered champagne every morning :) Just be sure that everything you ordered was delivered, because they forgot to deliver a few items a couple of days. After breakfast, we relaxed in our hot tub and lounged on the sun beds, then finally started our day in the early afternoon.

The location is great. It's not too crowded in Imerovigli, and the views are stunning. There are many restaurants nearby, as well as mini markets, to stock up on water and snacks. Fira is just a 10 minute walk away, and Oia is just a 10 minute bus ride away. The bus stop to Oia from the hotel is about a 5 minute walk.

TIPS:
There's a path where people can walk along that's situated right above the hotel, and our room was right under the reception area. So, people could see into our balcony. It didn't bother us, but if you prefer more privacy, we'd suggest getting a room that's a bit lower. There's more stairs to the lower rooms, but there's definitely more privacy.

Also, if you have tons of luggage, be sure it has wheels because the taxi doesn't take you directly in front of the hotel. From where the taxi drops you off, you have to walk about 3 minutes down a gravel road before reaching the hotel. Not a big deal...women, be sure to wear flats!

All in all, it was a VERY relaxing stay. At the end of our visit, reception gave us a little gift to remember them by. It was a cute little touch, and we'll definitely remember our trip to Santorini!

Room Tip: Lower room for more Privacy (but that means more stairs)

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was fantastic! We had the honeymoon suite, with a private balcony (with jacuzzi!) and very large room and shower. Our favorite part was having a champagne breakfast delivered to our room each morning to eat on our private balcony, which had a stunning view. The staff was excellent and very helpful.

The hotel is ideally situated within walking distance to Fira, and there are many nice restaurants in the area as well.

Overall, the place was very quiet and relaxing. The perfect break after wedding planning!

My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel celebrating our belated honeymoon. Pegasus and other hotels in imerovigli have breathtaking views overlooking at the volcano and caldera.

The hotel is located quite high up and taxi will not be able to reach the hotel door step hence I would suggest you to take up the airport transfer so that for those out there with heavy luggages, the strong men can handle that for you. The stairs can be quite steep and you wouldn't want to a twisted ankle as a welcome gift for your trip in santorini.

The hotel room we stayed in has a very big balcony with thermal jacuzzi. The room is spacious enough for two and the view is just amazing. however, we felt the bathroom could have been bigger and better designed. When you pay a premium price for such hotel , the bathroom has gotta be at least around 100sqft for a suite.

Our 1st day didn't begin so well as there were few hardware issues. The aircon didn't work at night and my wife has to suffer through the cold. To add salt to the wounds, the phone didn't work and we have to walk to reception to make a complaint. Also, the wifi at the hotel is non existent and don't even dream of any chances of video streaming. Overall, our first day at the hotel was a bad one.

Moving to the good points - the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and they provided us another room to stay overnight. They also sent repairmen the next day to fix the aircon. However, the phone was still not working after our departure on the 4th day. To make up our bad experience, the hotel provided us complimentary services which we appreciated that.

All in all, I must say despite the hiccups I would still recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for an upmarket hotel with breathtaking view. There are some rough edges but the team is working to polish them. I do hope the wifi speed can be significantly improved on par with some of the hotels and restos in Fira.

This is surely one of the hotels I would consider in my next year' strip to santorini.

Room Tip: Choose a mid to higher floor unit !
