Santorini is very touristic place, but Princess hotel will take you away from crowd and will give you a feeling that you are alone on the island, location is perfect pared with an amazing view. The welcome was very nice, every team member greeted us with a smile and gave us all tips about the hotel, you can have a feeling that they are working like a family- which is great. Room was cozy with a lovely view and decor. I need to say that the hotel itself has an artistic personality-the atmosphere and the design are chosen with a taste, even the music selection-everything make you relax. F&B experience was great, we loved all we tried, special thank you to the chef and Igor (F&B Manager) he was very helpful, has a great personality and spirit. Restaurant has a lovely view and ambiance.

If you want to escape and relax-that would be a perfect place.

My husband and I stayed in Santorini Princess hotel for 7 days last year. This is a great hotel all in all.
1. The location is just beautiful, right on the cliff, secluded, you get to see a big blue horizon, great Santorini views yet it's 15 minutes away from the crowd and the nearest town.
2. I love small hotels, I am a big fan of privacy in a way and this hotel is just that, the stuff is very nice and very professional, good vibe!
3. Breakfast was really good, with a magnificent view..
4. The pool is great though I would prefer that the water was a bit warmer, for a 5 star that could be solved.
5. We had a big room on the first floor...well designed with a lovely terrace.
If you like peace and a small luxury, this is it.
Be prepared to kind of travel to town and insist on getting a room above the ground level, as they first offered us a ground level room, but we wanted to have a better view so they were willing to change out room. Cool place!!!

The setting is unbelievable. Set on the side of a cliff, this white washed hotel has elevated views overlooking the volcano and some of the best sun sets you will ever see.
The rooms are good and clean. We loved the staff who really went out their way to be friendly and help us.
We stayed here for a wedding nearby and compared to the other hotels that friends stayed in, this is miles ahead.
The pool is medium sized but nice. It is not uber trendy or smart but we had a fantastic stay and would return.
We loved that you could hire cars from the hotel and they would be delivered to you.

Room Tip: Some rooms are like caves as its built into the side of a cliff. Better to mention your preferences...

We thought based on other reviews that this was a five star hotel, but it was no where near that. It definitely lacked a lot of great amenities. The first and biggest drawback is the location! It was not near any other hotels or cool sites or shops within walking distance and was in fact on a gravel road. It did not look at all like what you expect from photos of Santorini with white and blue buildings built on a cliff. Second, the food there is a total joke and totally Americanized and not good. There is no real restaurant or bar. There is a banquet room that they want you to believe is their bar/restaurant - it does not have a kitchen or any separate bar area. There is no pool or outdoor bar or restaurant and they do not serve you by the pool unless you can stop someone walking by the nearby stairs. The room was a huge disappointment. We expected it to be very nice but you were not even allowed to throw toilet paper in the toilet - all of it had to go in the trash can which made things seem stinky and gross. Room service only came in the morning and so the trash sat there all day. The thread count on the bed had to be 100 - the sheets were so rough and the whole room including the bed felt damp because of the windows having to be open all day long. They only have the air running when you have your key in the door when you are in the room, so the maid leaves the windows open in the morning and while you are gone all day. This also brought in bugs. There was also supposed to be free wifi but we had two rooms there and the signal was so low we could never get it. There is no proper lobby or sitting area to use it either. We would never recommend anyone staying here! Only positive was the staff was friendly.

Dear Valued Guest,

We are truly sorry you did not enjoy various aspects of your stay.

Our gastronomical selection at the hotel tries to cater to a certain variety of taste buds but does remain loyal in being devoted to a Mediterranean approach. Therefore, our cuisine will include an assortment of casual dining also, without ever steering from use of fresh Santorinian and Greek products which is guaranteed.

Regarding the location, should you see our website, you will be informed as to the exact location the hotel is situated in. To be exact it is written that the distance to the centre of Santorini, Thira, is approximately 3.5 km and does mention it is in quiet surroundings, but not too far from the attractions of Santorini. It is especially an idyllic location for honeymooners or for a romantic getaway.

In addition, we are within a 15 minute walk to the centre of Imerovigli, which can be seen at the map section on our website. Moreover, our hotel is absolutely not built on a gravel road, and it is absolutely positioned at an elevated level by the caldera cliff. The gravel road is public domain, Santorini Princess Spa Hotel is sited on a private cobblestone road which is characteristic of Santorini and virtually all buildings and areas are surrounded by such roads/paths.

The restaurant’s kitchen is situated on ground level so as to cater to all areas of the hotel and so as to keep the restaurant and bar area (which is an open and airy designed restaurant having front and back views) as tranquil as possible amidst such surroundings and views which Santorini offers.

By the pool area, we have menu lists laid out and there is always a waiter/waiters situated nearby ready to take ones order. Perhaps they were on order runs at the specific time you needed to catch the waiters’ attention?

As for the toilet paper unfortunately having to be thrown in the toilet bin, this is a matter completely out of our control and it is extremely unfair we take the blame for it. We do realize this is a custom that foreigners are usually very surprised about, but the sewer system contains narrow drain pipes which causes easy blockage.

Dampness and humidity is evident in Santorini however, the windows do not need to be open all day long, a second key may be provided upon request and we would have been only to happy to accommodate you with one as we do with most of our guests who wish to keep the air running at all times. (We use climate control keys as we support a greener planet therefore try to do our part given the eligibility. Our judgment is to save energy where energy may be saved).

Lastly, we do understand wi-fi was rather sketchy but again, this was also beyond our control due to the telecommunications system on the island. This was also an extremely frustrating matter for us personally as we forfeit for a high speed internet wi fi connection and we would not receive it. However, we are pleased to say- albeit after your stay unfortunately, it has been remedied.

Nonetheless, we truly are regretful you did not stay and leave on a positive note as we do wish all of our guests an absolutely wonderful and impressive stay seeing we take into account ones vacation should be a memorably and happy one.

Thank you,

Warmest Regards,

The Management.

We spent three nights here while on our honeymoon.

We had a beautiful, well-maintained room that was overlooking the caldera. The views were breathtaking.

Upon our arrival we were handed a delicious welcome drink and given a tour around the property. Everyone who worked there was professional and made us feel welcome. Tina, our go-to person at the hotel was a sweetheart. My husband had a bit of a cold during our stay and she sent up a kettle with tea. At another point, our fridge seemed defective and we got it replaced right away.

Breakfast was included and it was very good quality. There was a lot of choices and everything was cooked to perfection. We also ordered room service from the restaurant on site (pizza) and it was reasonably priced, large portion and tasty.

The jacuzzi at the spa is complimentary and when we went we received excellent service from the two ladies who worked there. I would have gotten a massage or pedicure but unfortunately I did not have the time.

We would definitely return to this hotel!

What a beautiful place - stunning rooms, blissful pool with amazing views of the caldera and probably the best sunsets on the island. But what made our experience truly perfect were the members of staff. They were the friendliest, kindest people imaginable and helped us with so much. We ate dinner at the hotel a couple if times and the food was wonderful and I loved the breakfasts. This hotel is the perfect place to relax and unwind after exploring the island and although I went with my mum, it would have been great with my husband because it's such a romantic spot.

Room Tip: All the rooms have sea views!

My wife and I stayed here for 7 nights and it was absolutely lovely, a perfect way to spend relaxing on this wonderful island.

The hotel was amazing, great location with amazing views. One of the best parts of the hotel were the staff, they were so friendly and could not do enough for you (Special thanks to Tina, George, Igor & Angie, Plus the boss Alex!)

We stayed in room 8 which was very nice, we had a lovely private balcony overlook the Caldera, the room had a very comfortable bed and lovely bathroom with a great shower.

The food at the hotel is great, breakfasts are amazing and will set you up for the day, in the evening you can have a lovely meal in the restaurant which has great views.

The hotel is about 15-20 minute walk (3 minute drive) to Imerovigli town, where you will find a selection of restaurants. Oia is only 15 minutes away by car. (ps. Car hire can be arranged in the hotel, the company they recommend was great and easy to deal with, no hassle)

I can not speak about the hotel highly enough.

Well Done to all at the Santorini Princess.....
