Since I am a business traveler, I would like to estimate all other travelers of the same travel category and express my conception about Rocabella Santorini! It is very important for me to give a statement about my recent accommodation, because nowadays sharing information is from a very high high importance.

ROOM
Modern furniture, extremely functional layout incl. technical equipment is given to fulfill your business requirements at any given time. The elegantly spacious room gives you a residential feeling. The day light, makes the room bright and the lightings are very well designed. Of course my outdoor Jacuzzi was the highlight overlooking the Aegean Sea.

RESTAURANT
Assagiami restaurant offers a gorgeous taste of Mediterranean cuisine. Please try out my favorites: Bouillabaisse, grilled vegetables, Greek salad and of course charcoal grilled octopus and mussels with feta. The Greek desserts are especially good.

POOL BAR LOUNGE
Charm full place!

CLEANLINESS
The entire property is very well maintained. The public cleaners are wiping and sweeping the public areas and the gardeners looking after the greenery and the vegetation of the resort. The room is cleaned twice a day by the room attendant. The bed linen is getting changed on a daily basis as well as the bathroom towels.

CONFERENCE
All feature state. It is an extensive conference hall which includes all facilities and accommodates all type of meetings. Banqueting with snack corners and tea/ coffee breaks to extraordinary business lunches and dinners is classifying this place as a very high-end product.

TRIPS
Visit 3 traditional wineries and try wines made from indigenous grape varieties of Santorini. Expertise Sommelier of the wineries, who greatly enjoys conducting wine education presentations and loves to share his passion for wine with all levels of wine consumers from the novice to the most disceming wine connoisseur and business traveler. Diving excursion, PADI lessons, diving school & dive center are very close to Fira city. Private sailing day tours can be also arranged and of course a visit to Santorini Volcano is a must.

WEATHER
Only one day of rain, which i was very relieved about, as the winter season starts. Sunny days, rest of my stay. There is a lovely breeze most days. Take lots of sun cream!

VALUE
According to my personal expectation, a great price-value is given along with the business package provided by the resort.

My partner and I decided to get married in Santorini last July 2012 after a short engagement of only few months. We had a very short lead time up to the wedding, but ever since our first mail contact, Savas has been excellent. He was always quick and elaborate in his responses and it's thanks to him and his amazing staff that our wedding turned out to be exactly what we wished for!
The lead up to the wedding and the wedding day itself went very smooth.. which I of course really hoped for, but didn't really expect. To start, my partner and I live in Australia; he is Greek (born and raised) and I am Chinese/ Dutch. Therefore, Rocabella really was going to have a hard time with guests coming from allover the globe. We had friends and family flying in from Australia, China, Croatia, Netherlands, Russia to name a few. But Savas and his crew managed to impress all the way with their excellent service and their attentiveness.
All of our guests were raving about the service that was provided and I know that this is not an easy crowd to please.
We had chosen the lower level pool area for our ceremony and the upper level pool area for the dinner and the party. The multilevel approach was really perfect, as it gave us a natural flow of events. After the ceremony, all guests were taken to the upper level where everyone was seated for dinner. I guess the only thing requiring improvement was the food. Not that it wasn't good, it was good.. but it just was not what we had ordered, nor what we had expected. We had ordered multiple food stands.. like a carving stand/ seafood BBQ stand etc. which gives the impression that it's prepared on the spot by a cook. However what we got was nothing but a buffet. Very plain and not what was agreed.
It's sounds a bit negative now, which really is not my intention. All in all, we are truly grateful to Savas and his team. They managed and coordinated all of the events in such a manner that my partner and I could simply enjoy. There was no stress, no drama's, nothing missed out on.. I cannot say enough how grateful I am for giving us the most Magical Wedding in the most Magical location!

We are looking forward to organize the next party at Rocabella!

My wife and I stayed at Rocabella in late September for a second time.When we arrived at the hotel, Savas surprised us and said we were upgraded to a Superior suite!The breath-taking views experienced during our first trip lured us back to Santorini, and they were just as extraordinary the second time around. The resort is situated at the top of the cliff with magnificent views from our balcony.The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to everyone.The suite was amazing, particular highlights being the outdoor jacuzzi. The pool areas (4 in total) were the perfect places to relax and enjoy nice coctails.Loved every second. If we could give more than five stars we would.Thank you so much to all of you for making it an unforgetable experience for a second time!

My partner and I stayed at Rocabella in late October. Despite having been warned of rain approaching, we managed to avoid solid rain and our days were sunny, with storms in the evenings. We had an incredibly sunny week and swam quite happily in the many pools provided.

We booked a superiour room, but Savas kindly upgraded us to a suite when we arrived. We were pleased to note that for a while, there were only two other people staying in the whole hotel, due to the winter season. This is our idea of heaven!

Our room was vast, with plenty of space for luggage and clothes. We also had a living room area with sofa and coffee table, a dining table, coffee and tea making facilities, and a massive bathroom. We were lucky enough to get a huge jacuzzi on our terrace, which became the best part of our holiday. Especially in those brief stormy evenings in the first few days. The bathroom was great, fantastic power shower, and spotlessly clean. Our bed was very comfortable, and the entire room was very homely.

The staff were incredible through the holiday and couldn't help enough. From the wonderful varied breakfasts, to the freshly cooked local cuisine, nothing was too much to ask. The views from Rocabella were incredible and the whole environment is so relaxing, you lose yourself in the romance of the island.

The pool areas are well spaced apart and due to our time of visit, we had our choice of pools, totally to ourselves. A downside to visiting at this time of year is that many restaurants are closed, so you might have to travel a little further afield to find somwhere to eat if you leave the hotel.

The bus stops not far from the hotel and offers cheap trips to Oia with minimum inconvenience. Situated outside of Imervigli, we found the location to be perfect, quiet but not too far out if we wanted to get dinner.

I was terribly upset to leave, and we will definately be visiting again soon. Can't thank the staff enough!!!
