My partner and I decided to get married in Santorini last July 2012 after a short engagement of only few months. We had a very short lead time up to the wedding, but ever since our first mail contact, Savas has been excellent. He was always quick and elaborate in his responses and it's thanks to him and his amazing staff that our wedding turned out to be exactly what we wished for!
The lead up to the wedding and the wedding day itself went very smooth.. which I of course really hoped for, but didn't really expect. To start, my partner and I live in Australia; he is Greek (born and raised) and I am Chinese/ Dutch. Therefore, Rocabella really was going to have a hard time with guests coming from allover the globe. We had friends and family flying in from Australia, China, Croatia, Netherlands, Russia to name a few. But Savas and his crew managed to impress all the way with their excellent service and their attentiveness.
All of our guests were raving about the service that was provided and I know that this is not an easy crowd to please.
We had chosen the lower level pool area for our ceremony and the upper level pool area for the dinner and the party. The multilevel approach was really perfect, as it gave us a natural flow of events. After the ceremony, all guests were taken to the upper level where everyone was seated for dinner. I guess the only thing requiring improvement was the food. Not that it wasn't good, it was good.. but it just was not what we had ordered, nor what we had expected. We had ordered multiple food stands.. like a carving stand/ seafood BBQ stand etc. which gives the impression that it's prepared on the spot by a cook. However what we got was nothing but a buffet. Very plain and not what was agreed.
It's sounds a bit negative now, which really is not my intention. All in all, we are truly grateful to Savas and his team. They managed and coordinated all of the events in such a manner that my partner and I could simply enjoy. There was no stress, no drama's, nothing missed out on.. I cannot say enough how grateful I am for giving us the most Magical Wedding in the most Magical location!

We are looking forward to organize the next party at Rocabella!

My wife and I stayed at Rocabella in late September for a second time.When we arrived at the hotel, Savas surprised us and said we were upgraded to a Superior suite!The breath-taking views experienced during our first trip lured us back to Santorini, and they were just as extraordinary the second time around. The resort is situated at the top of the cliff with magnificent views from our balcony.The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to everyone.The suite was amazing, particular highlights being the outdoor jacuzzi. The pool areas (4 in total) were the perfect places to relax and enjoy nice coctails.Loved every second. If we could give more than five stars we would.Thank you so much to all of you for making it an unforgetable experience for a second time!

My partner and I stayed at Rocabella in late October. Despite having been warned of rain approaching, we managed to avoid solid rain and our days were sunny, with storms in the evenings. We had an incredibly sunny week and swam quite happily in the many pools provided.

We booked a superiour room, but Savas kindly upgraded us to a suite when we arrived. We were pleased to note that for a while, there were only two other people staying in the whole hotel, due to the winter season. This is our idea of heaven!

Our room was vast, with plenty of space for luggage and clothes. We also had a living room area with sofa and coffee table, a dining table, coffee and tea making facilities, and a massive bathroom. We were lucky enough to get a huge jacuzzi on our terrace, which became the best part of our holiday. Especially in those brief stormy evenings in the first few days. The bathroom was great, fantastic power shower, and spotlessly clean. Our bed was very comfortable, and the entire room was very homely.

The staff were incredible through the holiday and couldn't help enough. From the wonderful varied breakfasts, to the freshly cooked local cuisine, nothing was too much to ask. The views from Rocabella were incredible and the whole environment is so relaxing, you lose yourself in the romance of the island.

The pool areas are well spaced apart and due to our time of visit, we had our choice of pools, totally to ourselves. A downside to visiting at this time of year is that many restaurants are closed, so you might have to travel a little further afield to find somwhere to eat if you leave the hotel.

The bus stops not far from the hotel and offers cheap trips to Oia with minimum inconvenience. Situated outside of Imervigli, we found the location to be perfect, quiet but not too far out if we wanted to get dinner.

I was terribly upset to leave, and we will definately be visiting again soon. Can't thank the staff enough!!!

Our company hired the Rocabella for 4 days in the end of September. We were 65 people who flew inn from all over the world, and had most of the hotel booked. From arriving till we left, everyone looked after us extremely well. The combination of friendliness and personal feel of the place, whilst always maintaining a professional approach made it a pure pleasure to organize the company event here.
The hotel with the various separate areas worked well and catered for group sessions in the conference room as well as work in smaller groups. Also the terrace for the kick off on the first night was spectacular, with branding all over the hotel and projections on to the crisp white walls in the dark, rounded off by fireworks.
It is not the easiest place to get to logistically, but once there it is an amazing place.
All our staff were totally blown away by the venue and location!
