“A Walk in the Past.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2011

We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour of this Cistercian abbey. It is an exceptional example of the way the monks lived in the twelfth and early thirteenth centuries. It is not adorned with various decorations but has a beautiful simplicity showing how the monks must have lived. Our young grandchildren even enjoyed the walk in the past. It is well worth a visit if you are near the towns of Lorgues and Draguignan in the Department of Var area. There is a winery near the abby to visit also.
