My husband, father and I went here on an overnight visit to Calais. We stayed in an apartment in Wimereux (see our review for the Mini Lofts Paul et Virginie) as none of the Calais accommodation looked very pleasant. The restaurant was full of locals and we were welcomed and, as we struggled to understand some of the things on the menu, Jean-Francois, the chef and owner, came and sat at our table and explained everything. We had scallops in a very tasty jus, the freshest mussels in a creamy sauce, and faux filet of pork with a chorizo and cheese sauce. It wasn't cheap, but I thought it was good value. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely return.
