That was the word that just kept coming to mind during my stay at Kura. The adventure begins with the ride up the mountain thru the rain forest with the sounds of Toucans and waterfalls. The road brings you to the spectacular mountain top setting with the view of the Whales Tail. Then the best part is when you walk into the hotel with the incredible architecture.....glass all around, wide open spaces, truly right out of a design magazine. The Infinity Pool was stunning and we saw the most incredible sunset right over the pool. The pool fire is an amazing "must see".
The villas are roomy with more great views, an open glass shower which allows you to see, feel and hear the rain forest, broad decks with Toucans and other exotic birds always perching nearby, and very sexy lighting. Totally restful.
Love that the owners have decorated using local Indian masks and are supporting the surrounding community. Their caring is evident in each exquisite detail of Kura.
All of the staff is warm, friendly and going out of their way to make your experience very special, which ours truly was.

Amazing view and scenery...it was defintely and exclusive experience in these secluded yet modern and top of the line design villas. Friendly service, good food, bed and pillows are amazingly comfortable. Highly recommend it!!

If you want to experience truly unique and refined architecture in one of the most beautiful areas of Costa Rica, this is the place. You will not want to leave! The staff was lovely and we had the luxury of staying at a time where we were just one of two couples and this left us with an exclusive experience. I loved the location and the fact that it was a true 4x4 must have to get up the rocky road to this amazing paradise.

Perfect for a romantic trip! An spectacular view! A never seen swiming pool! A unique design! Delicious food! The hosts are very warm and you really can rest! I recommend you the homemade bread , Benedict eggs, pejibaye soup... Everthing's great
