“Great diving”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2013

Sipadan is an amazing place to have diving. it's not so difficult to find a permission even if web says you must book in advance (i suggest you to book in advance). Go to Semporna, visit some diving centre and you colud find one or two permission for one or two days after.

Sipadan is a small, paradisiac and military island. You can't walk along the beach but you are there for diving and not sunbath. Sealife is great and barracuda point is amazing.Jack Fish, barracuda, sharks, turtles, bumper head. Simply amazing.

“Place you must visit before you die!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013

It is located in the Celebes Sea off the east coast of Sabah, East Malaysia (which is on the island of Borneo). It was formed by living corals growing on top of an extinct volcanic cone that took thousands of years to develop. Sipadan is located at the heart of the Indo-Pacific basin, the centre of one of the richest marine habitats in the world. Sipadan has been rated by many dive journals as one of the top destinations for diving in the world.

“There's a reason its in the top five”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2013

I'm lucky enough to of dived a wide range of dive sites and this place was well worth the trip. More reefs should be protected this way and when you dive it you will see why.
