Wondering if the chef is the same as described by those reviewers in year 2012? We did not enjoy those foods served by this restaurant at all.
Salt & pepper squid - the usual aroma of salt & pepper wasn't there, some of us even mistaken it as squid cooked in butter
Black pepper crab - never had this dish served in so watery form, fragrance & spice of pepper totally missing
"Gan Xiang" crab - again, tasted nothing like the usual "Gan Xiang", watery
*the crabs look big but empty inside…*
Prawn in butter (wet type) - wondered if the chef's taste bud is normal, this dish tasted just like eating spoonful of sugar
Steam fish - no comment, not delicious but at least tasted normal
Sambal paku-pakis - the vegetable served has grown too “old” to be eaten, the stems are hard. Again, the dish was watery, fragrance of sambal gone.
Steam-egg – ordered normal steam egg but “steam-egg with century & salted egg” was served. However, they managed to change for us. Salt in the dish has not spread evenly, some of us said it was tasteless and some said, too salty.
Bitter gourd with salted egg – taste the same as the sauce for prawn in butter sauce, spoonful of sugar. This was served when we have almost finishing our meal, explanation given was, the receptionist has omitted this when keying our order.
As per the previous reviews, the seafood served in this restaurant is quite pricey as compared to those in KL& JB, but, the put-off factor is the quality of foods.

We have looked into your complaints and have identified with our Restaurant Supervisor who has attended to you and your friends while you patronised our restaurant during the chinese new year period.
My Restaurant Supervisor has informed me about the incident where he mistakenly written three yolk steamed egg whereby you have ordered steamed egg instead. We believed that issue has been resolved when we changed our order and served you with the steamed egg as requested.
As for the taste of our food, we do have customers telling us that the food aren't salty or flavourful enough while others telling us that our food are salty and too much flavourful that it covers the original taste of the fresh seafood.
As we do serve not only the local Malaysians, we also served all other foreign friends and guests from over the world such as Europe, America, Australia, Japan, Korea, China and also South East Asia among others. Hence naturally, all our friends and guests from over the world do have their own unique preference and taste in regards to the food they eat.
To keep our check and balance on the taste of our food, we do serve our fresh seafood which has our own unique taste and style, and which is more biased towards Malaysian Chinese & China Cantonese style. As for our Nasi Goreng and Mee Goreng, we serve it in local malay style which proved to be very popular among our Malay friends and guests.
However, we the management and staff do accept all comments from our privileged guests regarding our food as we know that our priority is to provide all our guests with an exceptional dining experience in terms of customer services, food quality, staff efficiency and also dining ambience.
