Peaceful stay nice large rooms .
Nice furniture. Good clean place and friendly staff .. ;)
The weather was simply awesome . Was mistly and cold in the night and pleasant during the day. do not make the mistake of staying in the market full of traffic jams and noisy people .. Definitely recommended ..!!!

love traveling and do it on a regular basis . Just don't like these big hotels there are wayyy to many people . Like a place which is small personal and intimate . Found honeywood while driving towards a point had no plans on staying the night but when we came across this place we change our mind . A place where you really get a sense on MAHABALESHWAR . In the heart on the forest . For the
price thought it was great . Good service and humble staff .

I say wow.. Lovely little place great fresh food .. Don't what people mean when they say this place is over price .. Well if u think so then go to the market . U get small holes for rooms which are around 2000 - 3000 bucks .. Food price in the MARKET is also over priced .. so noisy and crowded .
I stuck to good old HONEYWOOD and I just loved it ..!!!

Hi all we stayed at HONEYWOOD on the 28 n 29 th of April we were 6 couples ,celebrating the 10 th anniversary of 3 couples in our group.
We took the top villas and ground floor villa . We all had our breakfast and dinner in house and lunch would be out at the farmhouse eateries as we were keen on sightseeing too. Weather was a little warm so we asked for coolers and fans which were provided in a jiffy on the first day, the second day there was no need for the coolers .Villas are large , furniture is nice and simple. Overall we had a good stay and will def recommend it.

My family and I went for 2 days i.e. 24th to 26th April. Stayed in 24 A top floor villa. The view was nothing great(just trees another bungalow and side of an hill) We found it very hot during the day and because of the peculiar position of wall fans suffocating (there being no ceiling fan) also of the two windows in each room only one(in each room) had mesh so no question of cross ventilation! The chairs in the dining room were shaky and we dared not use them.we were sitting on armchairs only! The doors had light shining through them (cracked panes and locks defective).Bathroom had an old defunct geyser sitting atop the LPG one!All in all it needs some maintenance! Also the parking is inadequate.I went in an i10 so had less problem but a slightly longer car was damaged in front of me while trying to turn!I paid 4900 per night and felt it was too much for this place.Charming garden but lower part neglected!Located close to various points but other options available!Had one meal on day of arrival and food insipid!

Room Tip: I would not advise anyone to pay more and stay on higher floor.

With reference to your review I would like to mention
1. The view of the trees you have mentioned is a reserved forest which houses species liked dear and bison ( the valley of reserved forest chosen specially by our repeat guests )
2. extra coolers and fans can be provided request and are always on stand by.
3. please also do mention you paid ₹ 4900 for a 1000 sq 2 bed room and a hall and dining ( WHICH IS UNIQUE ). and not for 1 room like you make it out to be .
4. Ours is a well maintained holiday home as we personally look into these matters . But since we reside here we wish you had personally brought the Matter to us and we would have sorted it out immediately. Most of our Furniture is fairly new ,our staff had mentioned that 1 dinning chair had been broken by a previous occupant which we later replaced and we apologise for the inconvenience.
5. Surprising you found the food insipid as it has been appreciated by many ,we have written remarks of appreciation on the same day .
Thank you for your feedback.

A welcome change!. Value for money.

My family and I travel very often . We have stayed at all different types of hotels with star ratings. But this time we decided to stay at a home stay for a more personal intimate experience . This was perfect , no crowds ,no noise, clean, simple and homely. Good food quality. We had taken both the ground floor villas which were large and spacious.
It was definitely value for money. Will recommend HoneyWood surely.
Suggestion ;) relax n enjoy the lawns outside. Also do ask for the garden lights to be put off so u can get the best view of a Starry Starry Night.
More variety on the BBQ maybe some cold cuts.
