“Nice lunch!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013

Popped in here on a whim, for lunch, and enjoyed it. I did what I often do at lunch-time, order a starter and some chips. I had the baked goat's cheese with fig jam - a bed of finely chopped salad, topped with goat's cheese and garnished with figs - absolutely delicious! The chips could have been crisper, but were fine. Hubby had the "special" - fillet of salmon with a prawn sauce. A good dollop of mash, with the salmon fillet on top, then topped with some prawns, and lots of sauce - a good fish stock, tasting of seafood, lots of lemon, and finished with cream - just divine!!

“DO NOT EAT HERE”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2013 via mobile

Disgusting behaviour from the staff, especially from the older woman with glasses!we ordered a main course with extra chips as the chip portions were normally small. As we were eating the older woman was talking about us the rest of the staff saying (that's far too much food)we then ordered a dessert, which made it a two course meal. Her mouth near hit the floor she kept staring and whispering to other staff. As we were paying the man behind bar made a sarcastic remark. My husband was irate and lost it with the staff and mentioned (do people not eat two course meals in this place?) we will never be back in this place and will never recommend it to anybody. Food is just ok nothing special, staff are a disgrace!

“Lovely food but staff more interested in watching the tv!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013 via mobile

The food was lovely and plenty of it! The only thing that was off putting was just too much on the table (cups and saucers) and the staff were more interested In watching tv..... Will give it an other go.
