“Great cakes!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2013

I have been enjoying regular trips to the Rochester coffe Company and never disappointed by the cakes and coffees they serve. Recently moved onto redbush tea and they probably the only coffee shop to offer so much choice in the teas they offer. It was also served with honey. Beautiful.
Only one thing lets the place down: its too small for its popularity ;-). Always very busy!

My favourite coffee shop on the high street. Coffee not as good as Costa but atmosphere is nice and similar cakes, snacks offered. Service is good.

“A brief visit and my first.. full of promise, let down by awful service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

I visited during the last bank holiday. Shortly after joining the queue at the counter I was asked to leave, not very politely either, as they were too busy. I said I was meeting a friend who was already enjoying a coffee and they let me stay. Other customers arriving were greeted in the same way.. Although I could stay, I was not able to order food, again too busy.. Not a great experience.. great menu and setting, shame about the unhappy staff.
