“Great Venue”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2014

I visited Revolutions with my 11 year old son and his 2 friends as a birthday treat.
We travelled an hour and a half to get there and arrived for the 12pm session. We didn't have a plan as such but it worked out getting the all day ticket at £18 gave them the flexibility to come and go as they pleased, including a short drive to MacDonalds for tea and then back again.
If not in it for the whole day, the normal sessions last 2 hours at a time.

This place is fantastic!
The ramps cater for all abilities and ages and due to the sheer size and different areas, there's plenty of room for tricks/stunts or simply scooting/skate boarding / rollerblading without spoiling anyone elses fun. Obviously there were certain parts of the day busier than others but there's an etiquette that means everyone takes their turn at going and I saw no unfair behaviour.

There is a refreshment/tuck shop and before leaving we bought a large pizza for a very reasonable £7. They do tea & coffee which was a necessity for me whilst I sat watching for hours (and hours) but unfortunately no newspapers/mags ...... so as a parent if planning a long stay bring a book!

Also worth mentioning is the staff are all great. Anyone I had the need to speak with were really helpful and seemed to enjoy working there.

Overall, the boys had a fantastic day with little or no effort on my behalf and well worth the travel if making a day of it.

“Great Place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2014

Take my kids here regularly and they love it. Facilities are very good, all indoor, staff, friendly and supportive of the kids esp. the younger ones.
There is a good shop, indoor seating, small cafe, they offer party facilities and also have a climbing wall.

“Off the wall”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2014

My 7yo daughter and 5yo son have a blast every time we come here, whether it is for scootering skateboarding or using the climbing wall. The coffee isn't bad either!

“Brilliant place to take energetic youngsters.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 7, 2013 via mobile

We took our grandsons aged 6 and 9 to Revolution for a taster scooter lesson. This lasted 2 hours and all equipment was provided. The boys had a great time and the instructor remained with them at all times. I was exhausted just watching them from the 'viewing room' so it is certainly a place to expend excess energy. There is a choice of skateboard and or scooter lessons and also free time sessions. The complex is large, modern with a shop selling all kinds of relevant sports equipment. I believe that you can book parties there. Rock climbing lessons are also available.
I shall certainly be taking the boys back again on their next visit. They loved it.

“Skate heaven”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2013

Three areas to skate in the dry. The kids love it. A bit cold for the grandparents so bring a fleece. Coffee good but a cup a soup would be nice.
