Upon arriving at the pub we had a friendly welcome and we were shown to our room. A steep narrow staircase and more an more stairs. Old place an this showed in decor an the fact it was a bit like a rabbit warren. The room itself was large with three windows it was light an looked ok. Upon actually settling into the room and unpacking we found the chest of drawers didn't close as the drawers opened by themselves possibly because it was on a slant. The window sills were dirty as was the skirting an the place felt grubby although the beds were clean an comfy. The windows were sash windows one of which had been packed at the top with paper to stop the wind an the rattle. The shower was small but adequate. The curtains had to be shut from the bedroom to the bathroom as it was a clear large window. We were able to come and go as we wanted as we had our own key. The room cost £60 per night but no breakfast. We could of had breakfast if we had pre booked but this would have been an extra £5. I don't think we would stay here again as there were other smaller B n B which looked better an more thank likely would of included breakfast. Broadstairs on a whole is a very pretty. Place with a fab beach an a lovely beach snack bar with lovely people running it. A lovely place to visit with lots of history an very pretty to boot.
