“Warm welcome”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2014

We visit Broadstairs at least once a year and always stop here for coffee and cake. This time round we decided on a cream tea. The scone was soft, full of fruit and large; the jam was very tasty and the clotted cream was plentiful. The cafe itself is charming and cosy with lots of interesting items to see and read, and making a wish in the well is a must. The staff are welcoming and very friendly. If you are visiting and you have a dog (or two!) there is an equally as warm a welcome and they have a small selection of 'doggy' bits to buy. We definitely be returning again. Give it a go you will not be disappointed.

“Secret cake,coffee and a wish”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2014

We went to Broadstairs because we were fed up with the rain, got in the car and found the sea,
Had a run along the beach,so salty and a bit cold we fancied a cake we found the little curiosity shop . It's was great and very welcome they were so friendly. We made a wish in the well inside and looked down at the skeletons deep in the well ha ha ha
Our daughter was amazed and kept a close eye on the well and her beauty of a bake well tart
This place has a lovely view all round of the strange and wonderful houses and cobble street you can just relax eat drink and soak up the sea calm
Truly lovely so thank-you to the boys who served us we had a blast and we'll be back ,,with our dog next time

“usual heath welcome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2014

Called in windswept and cold with equally dishevelled dog. Given usual friendly greeting. Bacon sandwiches excellent and great value. It's always a warm welcome here. and no wonder it has so many 'regulars'.

“Broadstairs best kept secret”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2014

The best coffee shop in Broadstairs. A great menu selection with very friendly and helpful staff who provide a warn and first rate service. The breakfast and coffee were both excellent .The place is very clean and cozy, and full of local charm. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
