“March Chill-out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013 for a stay in March 2013

We were so lucky to have secured a few days away in this wonderful house in early March with the sun shining every day, yes...in March. House is 100% on all fronts, especially location, minutes to the beach/town pubs etc. Nice enclosed garden, comfy beds, car parking on front of property; cannot fault it. With so many beaches nearby, ideal for walking and back to the house to chill in total comfort. Nic very good at responding to emails so pain-free booking process. We shall be back again....

“Beautiful house that was quintessentially English seasidy in a gem of a town. Wonderful.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2012 for a stay in September 2012

Stayed in Broadstairs with the Grandparents, two parents and a toddler. Great that the house was on a few levels so those who wanted to sleep in the morning were not disturbed by the toddler doing jigsaws downstairs.
When we walked in the sun was shining and the decor of the house just makes you feel like you're on holiday! The weather is dryer over this side of the UK and we had a beautiful week on Stone bay (visible from the house) exploring rockpools and on Viking Bay which is traditional and lovely.
The pubs in Broadstairs were great.....as was the ice cream and fish and chips.
All a toddler could ever want - digging on the beaches then playing in the house's ample garden with the Grandparents while the parents sipped coffee on the balcony with a glimpse of the sea. Perfect. So much to explore in the area....may well return. Do take a cool bag to take home lovely produce from the local butchers.

Liked best: The holiday look and feel of the house and the cleanliness.
Liked least: The higher deposit, understandable but....maybe a keypad box would be better than the current key system. It worked for us fine but if we'd been out it would have been a drag to have to go to the post office and may save the landlords money overall.

“A brillant holiday for the whole family in the best location.”

I cannot recommend this holiday rental enough, ideal for a group of friends or a family of various generations. The house is situated on a quiet side street with the view of the sea front and the beach just a minute away. The house had ample private parking. Extremely close to Charles Dickens holiday home "Bleak House". We travelled with three toddlers and used buggies everyday, everything was in walking distance, several beaches, supermarket, shops, pubs, resturants etc. The house itself was immaculate, of a good size, well planned out and was just like being at home. The kitchen had more than enough utensils, cutlery, plates etc even a washing basket, pegs and line. The garden was very safe and also a nice place to sit. The bedrooms and bathrooms were of a good size and had lovely bedding. Regarding the booking itself the booking manager was lovely, well organised and made good communication throughout and we will be making another booking next year.

“a great home from home”

We stayed the second time in this wonderful accomodation - very tidy and comfortable - the house is a real home from home for us and our 3 sons. The contact to the owners was without any problems, the meet and greet fantastic.
We can say that we will certainly return to Broadstairs and will then stay again in this house. The area is quiet but only a few steps away you are in the town and can enjoy lots of restaurants and amusements. GREAT!!!
