“Wonderful establishment - shame about the coffee.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

Stayed here for one night, having attended a birthday party. Wonderful location by the sea - very friendly staff, helpful and courteous. Room was nice and spacious, a little dated but clean and bright. Unfortunately there was not much pressure in the shower and the over sink light did not work in the bathroom. The Bellbridge joins a long line of other Irish establishments who can not present a decent cup of coffee at breakfast time - what I was given was appalling drivel and totally in drinkable. Would love to stay here again and probably will, hopefully I won't have to bring my own coffee.

We stayed last night for a wedding. Booked in had a drink, launched into the wedding and returned to the bar for a few more drinks. What a cozy spot. Staff so helpful. The night porter was a gentleman. I had 30 euros in coins and he offered to exchange them for notes. Room was so comfortable and clean. Breakfast was self service but staff were at your heel if you wanted anything extra. Great spot, beautifully beach too.

My family and I went here for our Christmas family reunion this year. We did two nights and dinner. We go somewhere different every year but have decided to stick with the bellbridge in future as it ticks all the boxes and we all just loved it.
We got a great deal and from the min we arrived we were treated like royalty. The staff are exceptional here.they really know how to be friendly without smothering or being over powering. They all come across as genuinely sound local people and it really adds to the stay.
We did a beautyful walk along the coast on the second day, the area is spectacular.
The food here is the real icing on the cake. Dinner, breakfast, lunch all amazing and sooo generous with portions!
Can't wait to visit again. Keep up the good work Bellbridge :-)

Great staff, good food, special spanish point. Decor bit dated, rooms looked somewhat tired however get a deal and the welcome and efficiency of staff more than make up for it. Fine big car park well marked out.

On a Groupon voucher and we only had about ten days left before our voucher expired and they managed to find us a room over the next weekend which turned out to be busy one. On our approach the outside would not have been the most impressive place we have stayed in (more like a motel than hotel) but that quickly changed upon entering to a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The inside was very different to the outside with lots of character verging on the olde world but not too much. If I owned this hotel I would probably employ the inside designer to have a go at the outside. ( It's not bad but just very different to the inside)

All the staff could not have been better but If i did have to single out any particular section it would be the Dining staff who just went that extra mile.

Our deal included a bottle of wine each evening, whether we dined or not. We did not expect too much to this end but were given a choice of about 5 or 6 and they were excellent. We decided to try the food on our first night and it was to such a good standard that we dined in the following night as well. That is not normal for us as we like to try a variety of restaurants when away.

We are returning in August with a group of 'mature bikers' and thoroughly looking forward to it.

If I had an adverse comment on anything it would be about the size of the en-suite in Room 11. I would probably pinch a little off the lounge area of this room and increase the size of the bathroom sink a little. It must be the smallest sink I have come across. However, at the price we paid it was still excellent value.

To the Owners, management and staff. Well done, you have it right. Maintain these standards and you can't go wrong.

I stayed is this hotel for 1 nite and would definately go back. The hotel and rooms were kept nice nd clean and the staff were friendly and helpfull. It is near the beach but at this time of year there is nothing happening and no shops or other pubs around other than the armada hotel. I would recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay.

Stayed here with a friend on a girlie weekend break recently and we loved it! We bought it on a really cheap deal on a web offer and although we paid hardly anything for it, we were treated royally. The staff at Bellbridge are amazing...really friendly and helpful but not at all in your face. The food was gorgeous and very reasonable. If I was to suggest any slight improvements it would be to increase the heat slightly i our bedroom, although we were there on the first really cold weekend for a while. It was my second time staying there and I will definitely be back!

Room Tip: Our room was on the wing facing out onto the car park, which is an extension. Maybe the older part o...
