“Great for non-cyclers too!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2014

We knew nothing of Enjoy Garda's cycling connections - we just booked it because we liked the look of it. It's a relatively small modern hotel with fantastic facilities, nice clean, modern rooms but - and most importantly - some of the most friendly, helpful and obliging hotel staff I have ever seen.

We stayed at Enjoy Garda for five nights at the beginning of June 2014 and there really wasn't much to fault with the place (although a little heat in the swimming pool would have made it even better!). The bar prices were very reasonable, the breakfast and snack lunches good and the rooms lovely. The location is great - you can walk to all of Peschiera's fantastic restaurants and to the station for day trips.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone - couples, families, sole travellers. Excellent.

I spent a week at Grada Bike Hotel, May 20th-27th, 2014, cycling in the most beautiful roads I have ever been through.

This was my fifth cycling holiday in Italy, my first time at this hotel, but the best I have had. It started from the time Nicola picked at the airport in Verona and ends when Giusto gave me a ride back when I left. Between, I have experienced an unforgettable week. The hotel is perfectly located in Peschiera del Garda, very clean, modern, beautifully decorated, well equipped with all a cyclist or a gust needs. All staff members are kind, with warm hospitalities and great willing to assist you. Delicious meals!
For those who come for cycling – it is a fantastic cycling holiday. You can bring your own bike or rent a professional one. Just send the hotel your measurements when you book your holiday and by the time you arrive you are ready to go. All tours were magnificent – each of them took you to a different area in the region. The flat roads alongside the lake, or the climbs along the wineries -this beauty never ends. All guides are professionals, and take you to places you would never reach by yourself. It is definitely a place to come back! 10/10.

To the Verdolins – Grazie mille! Chapeau a lui. Hope to meet you all next year.

I spent 4 days at Enjoy Garda Hotel, aka Garda Bike Hotel, early in May 2014 and now all I want to do is go back as soon as I can.

Nothing is too much trouble for the stafft, the rooms are modern, the bathroom was big and spotless, the buffet breakfast and lunch are terrific, the lake is a short stroll away and the cycling is out of this world. As pretty as the lake is and the hilltop villages are, I loved the climb up Monte Baldo. It's long, it's steep and it leaves me wanting more.

Thank you to Nicola and Alberto, John and Michael for a great holiday.

My only concern is I think a month at Enjoy Garda Hotel might still not be enough.

Room Tip: My room on 3rd floor facing the street had a balcony and was good to watch the town's activity.

Superb hotel - the best one we stayed in during a fortnight in Italy!
It’s a short 5 minute walk from the railway station to the hotel, straight down the road from the station then turn right at the junction. The hotel is directly on the main road which goes around Lake Garda. Although you have to take care crossing, it’s well-lit here, and the traffic is slow as it’s so close to the junction.
The hotel seems to have been refurbished recently – it’s clean and nicely lit outside, shiny, clean and tastefully decorated inside. It’s a great first impression as you arrive. This continues with the professional, multi-lingual and helpful reception staff. They were going the extra mile for us from the moment we arrived, to ensure our stay was relaxing and trouble-free.

The lift was big enough to contain all of us plus our luggage and pushchair. I used the stairs when I wasn’t fully laden, and these were nicely decorated with easy chairs on the landing. The entire hotel is cyclist-friendly, so it’s decorated with cycling photographs and memorabilia, as well as providing bikes and bike touring services.
The rooms are large and well-equipped, with good soundproofing too. Bathroom was modern, spotless and well-equipped. It even had those little disposable slippers, though there’s no need for them really when the floor’s so clean !

The balcony was a decent size, handy for smokers. We didn’t use it much as the weather was cool during the mornings and evenings. The sofa in the room was handy and comfy, and everything seemed very new. Note that the hotel is justifiably proud of it’s appearance, and there's a pricelist in the room to tell you the cost of replacing various items – they’re not cheap. There’s also a note on the balcony asking you to only dry laundry on the purpose-built rack, not drape it everywhere. This didn’t bother us, but it’s worth bearing in mind
if you’re accident-prone or if these kind of notices irritate you.

We hadn’t originally booked breakfast as we thought it expensive. However, we had a quick look in the morning, and were so impressed we paid for it every morning. It was the best breakfast we had in Italy – a buffet counter offering bacon, various types of eggs, breads, cheeses, cooked meats, fresh fruit salad, coffee, juices, cereals, etc etc. Well worth the money.
On the subject of food, there’s a ‘Pennymarket’ supermarket about 10 minutes walk up the road, if you need provisions. It’s also a 10 minute walk into the town centre/ marina area of Peschiera, where there’s a wide selection of restaurants to choose from.

Be careful of the traffic when you walk to the town centre – there are two separate arches in the town wall, each taking a single lane of traffic over a separate bridge. The arch on the left (when going from hotel to town) has a pavement (sidewalk), and the other does not.
Don’t risk your life dodging traffic in the archway with no pavement, just cross over to the other archway, where you can walk safely and leisurely. There's very little room for more than a vehicle in the archway with no pavement.

After checking out, we were allowed to leave our luggage in a secure room until we were ready to take it to the train station. My only regret at this hotel was not having used the outdoor swimming pool – it looked gorgeous, but the weather was too cool in the evening and morning when we were at the hotel.
All in all, an excellent hotel, highly recommended.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back face away from the main road. However, we were at the front and didn't have an...

Also the rooms are very clean and organized, the hotel is well located, the food is great, specially the lunch buffet which has a lot of delicious options and the best part is the staff, which is really attentive and helpful!!! Strongly recommend for everybody!!!

Lovely modern hotel with friendly and informative staff who are more than happy to advise on places to go and how to get there. We forgot to bring an adapter so they sourced one for us when the shops were closed.

The food in the restaurant was excellent, a different menu each evening. Reasonably priced, really friendly waiters. Breakfast was lovely too.

Rooms were very modern and comfortable, double sized walk in shower was amazing. Convenient fairly central location with only a short distance to bus stop, train station and port.

Would definitely recommend and we don't normally think about going back to the same hotel, we would however return here.

There is a pretty terrace outside and swimming pool together with a gated car park and you can sit outside and eat. Wonderful!

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the street have a view of the lake but you can hear a bit of noise. Room at the r...

Took a train from venice, and looked for a hotel near the station. The reviews were excellent so it made the decision easy to book this hotel. The staff at the hotel are fabulous, so very pleasant and helpful. We will certainly be back.
