Spent 4 nights at Il Nespolo. We had two rooms, both with sea views. The place is high up on the hillside and if it wasn't for the heat haze would have given wonderful views - can't complain as would rather have the great sunny weather. The hosts are very friendly although their English is quite limited. They gave us great advise for getting bus to Amalfi to take the ferry to Capri and even bought the bus tickets for us so we didn't have to worry about which ones to get. Nice continental breakfast each morning, had yoghurt available only one morning and would have preferred more but otherwise there was always enough to eat. The rooms were nicely finished and furnished and the bathrooms all seemed quite new. We were the only ones there most of the time and made use of the balcony in the evenings. Had a great margharita pizza and yummy hot chips made from the owner's potatoes that he grew himself from the Crazy Burger takeaway in Agerola. He even gave us some of his home-grown grapes for dessert!
The B&B prices were good compared to other places, we paid €60 per room per night (double basis) for September. If you wanted aircon you did have to pay extra but we didn't need it as the nights were cool enough even though the days were warm.
The only thing we didn't like was having to drive almost to Amalfi before being able to go along the coast road (i.e. towards Positano). In the end we went back to Castellammare and went to Sorrento and back over to Positano that way.
