This was the best place we stayed in our trip to Italy. Rooms are very comfortable, clean, spacious, and with a balcony view of the ocean. There are only a few rooms, so it´s quiet, and very cozy. The breakfast is amazing! Fruits, cereals, cake, cereals bars, yogurt, ommelette, croissant, capuccino, etc. And while you are having breakfast, they keep offering you more! Also, Salvatore, the owner, is a great guy, at your service always. He also drove us to Amalfi every morning, and the day we left, he showed us around the places we haven´t seen. SITA bus stops one block from the hotel, but next time, although as complicated as it can be, I would rent a car. Conca dei Marini is near Amalfi, but maybe staying in Amalfi might be a better choice if you want to move around easily. If you don´t mind that, Il Pavone is the place to stay.

Best B&B hands down on the coast. Salvatore and his family treated us with 5 star hospitality and quality. Rooms are comfortable, bright and very clean. Salvatore offers rides into Amalfi and assisted in arranging details of our outings upon our request without hesitation. The location is perfect to be near by but out of the tourist crowds. The view from the room and patio was only out done by the amazing breakfasts each morning. I Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This was everything and more than we could have imagined for our stay on the Almafi coast. Salvatore, Vito, and Carmela presented us with the warmest welcome when we arrived: a fabulous, clean room with a gorgeous view of the ocean and coastline & limoncello. Salvatore was easy to keep in contact with prior to our trip about travel plans and gave us tips on best travel routes. We did not have a car and took a train from Rome to Salerno. Salvatore generously picked us up from the train station because we arrived on a Sunday. But on our way out of town we took a bus from Almafi to Salerno. Conca dei marini is the cutest, most romantic town on the Almafi coast. It is a perfect hub in my opinion of the Almafi coast because you are a 10 min drive or bus ride from the town of Almafi (and B &B il pavone is a 1 minute walk to a bus stop). From Almafi you can take ferry's or bus's to the rest of the almafi coast or straight to Capri. Conca dei marini has a couple great restaraunts up on the hill close to the B&B. Our favorite was Le bonta del Capo, with amazing food & a great view of the almafi coast on a patio.
Also the beach in conca dei marini was my favorite little beach. After many flights of stairs down to the beach, there is a little oasis of blue water, beach chairs, and a couple yummy restaurants to eat & drink at on the beach.
Salvatore & Vito are there to help as much as needed with questions, transportation.
The breakfast was one of the best parts of everyday. The view on the patio where you eat is spectacular. The spread was unbelievable with coffee, omelets, fresh squeezed orange juice, all kinds of fresh fruit, different pastries everyday, and the list goes on. We cannot say enough great things about B &B il pavone and those who run it. We miss it and can't wait to go back one day. Sarah & Garrett from Seattle USA

Wanting to be close to Amalfi, but not fancying too touristy, crowded and impersonal accomodations; my family chose the Il Pavone and found it to be a really quaint B&B with a simply gorgeous view of the Coast, or the Old Monastary.

Perched up on Conca dei Marini, easily assessible to Amalfi by the SITA bus stop next to the B&B, there are quaint limoncello factory nearby and pizza restaurants within a 5-10min walk.

The view made waking up in the morning a joy, and close proximity to Amalfi and Ravello meant that we still to enjoy the sights and sounds of this famous Coast. But when we needed to rest and settle down, the Il Pavone provided the serenity and comfort of a family home.

The Pavone family really made an effort to make all their guest feel at home, whether in preparing breakfast together (which was a scrumptuous wide spread of breads, cakes, tarts, yogurts and fruits), to the simple greetings and helpful advice to planning the day.

This was what made our stay stand out - the sense of being a part of an Italian familia.

I do not know where to begin. Carmella, Vito and Salvatore are one of the finest family teems you can ever find.
Starting at our arrival, Salvatore parked our car in t he garage , because I had trouble to get in, took our language to our room and the Kings treatment began.
Hold your belly because the breakfast will last you for a long time. Vito can't stop himself from bringing more and more and more food.
From fresh made cappuccino, to a plater of fresh fruit, to a omelet , eggs, fresh pastries different every day, different jams, and let me not forget the very best fresh squeezed orange juice from fresh picked oranges.
Any time we needed help with getting places or making reservations, Salvatore or Vito was there to help, give us a ride to a restaurant for dinner and even picked us up, drove us to Amalfi to take a boat to Capri, so we don't have to pay tones of money for parking, give us good places to visit.
I can't stop telling my friends about their hospitality. Next year my husband and I are going back to Italy and if Amalfi coast is in plans, we are definitely staying at Il Pavone.
THIS IS THE VERY BEST B+B I'VE EVER STAYED IN, IN MY 25 YEARS OF TRAVEL TO ITALY
Easy access to all Amalfi coast, the best family to stay with.
FYI, the is also a small kitchen to use if you wish.

Room Tip: Il Pavone has 3 rooms witch all of them have the same most wonderful view of the sea, I did see them...

What a wonderful place to stay. Veto and his son Salvatore are so very hospitable that we felt part of their family right away. They went way beyond our expectations making us feel welcome, carrying our luggage, driving us to Amalfi in the morning from where we would take the buses or boats to other destinations. The rooms have balconies and the views of the Mediterranan Sea are incredible. The breakfast is served in a spectacular setting with fresh fruit and baked goods and just about anything you want they would provide. We can highly recommend this B & B.

Il Pavone B & B was one of the finest B & B experiences we have ever had in the numerous B & B's we have stayed at all over Europe!

The room was exceedingly clean and well appointed. The mattress and pillows were high quality as was all of the furnishings.

Salvatore and his father, Vito, consistently went well beyond our expectations to provide incredible hospitality and service. They were attentive to every need and offered suggestions as to how they could serve us that we would have never thought to request.

One great plus is that Il Pavone provides garage parking if you have a rental car and you do not have to leave your car parked on the street.

The breakfasts consisted of assorted freshly baked pastries, fresh fruits, yogurts, freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee & tea. Omelettes were available upon request.

Salvatore assisted with bus tickets and reservations for the ferry to Capri.

The rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels provided.

The view from the bedroom balcony and the breakfast veranda was breath taking. High quality windows and door made for a very quiet room. There is individual room A/C with WiFi and satellite TV.

The location in Conca dei Marini was ideal. It is a short bus ride to Amalfi, Ravello, or Positano but it is a small & very quaint & quiet village. There are two good and very reasonably priced restaurants within a few minutes walk.

Il Pavone provides great quality at a very reasonable price. I can't imagine staying anyplace else.
