This is one of those b&bs that makes you smile at where you are, the warmth of your hosts, and the quality of care and hospitality you experience during your stay. To say Pino and Pina's place comes highly regarded and recommended would be a complete understatement.

By the time we arrived at Atrani, my girlfriend and I had spent 10 days travelling throughout Venice and Rome and stayed in some very comfortable b&bs. But they were just that - b&bs. Pino and Pina's accommodation is an experience in itself, just like the exquisite backdrop that is the Amalfi Coast.

There is nothing that Pino and Pina won't go out of their way to do. While I was still in Sydney, Pino helped me arrange a car transfer from Naples and a scooter hire for our time on the coast - the scooter was delivered to Pino's doorstep the day we arrived.

We stayed in the yellow room, which suffice to say had exceptional views, a private terrace and a fairly roomy private bathroom. All areas were perfectly clean on arrival and were maintained daily.

The house is an authentic centuries-old villa, that has been in Pina's family for almost two hundred years. Pino and Pina recently undertook a comprehensive restoration but the feeling of the property remains completely authentic with true Amalfi coast decor. Take some time to admire the stunning ceiling and the section of original tiled flooring that they have kept as a memento after restoring the property.

Each night we told Pino what time we would like breakfast and were greeted in the morning by fresh croissants, fruit, yoghurt, biscuits and coffee on our balcony.

Pino and Pina gave us great tips on where to eat, where to ride our scooter and are beautiful kind, welcoming and attentive couple. It's just like staying with family friends.

On the day of leaving Pino showed us the blue room, which is also incredible and possibly has slightly better views. Not to say our views weren't fantastic.

We'll most certainly be back.

We recently started off our trip to italy by staying at La Scogliera in Atrani, on amalfi coast. Words cannot begin to describe how perfect this was! We met Pino, the owner, at the bed and breakfast and he had someone bring our bags up and met us with refreshments on the balcony of our room. We stayed in the blue room, la Rodine, and the view was so beautiful that it looked like a postcard.

We spent our trip going to capri, positano, Pompeii (all by bus easily with help from the wonderful Pino!!).... However, after all of those travels, we realized the best place was really the
Intel square in Atrani and the beach there only steps away. Trust Pino with helping you. He has lived there all of his life, and helped us with restaurant recommendations and even called friends of his to get us great tables!

Breakfast was amazing every morning and Pino served us on the balcony at whatever time was convenient to us. We wanted to stay later in atrani on our last day, and Pino held our bags and allowed us to come back and change before our train ride.

Or favorite part of the trip was really meeting Pino and his wife Pina. What a beautiful couple, so sweet and helpful. They would do anything for you just to make sure that your trip was worth it. My husband and I have travelled a lot, and we have never been so happy with a hotel or B&B as this one. We miss you Pino and Pina and will definitely be back to see you!!!

Stay here, we promise you will not regret it!!!!!!

I can't recommend this B&B enough! Pino the host is just the most adorable gentleman, keen to offer help & advice, make you a coffee, listen to your adventures, provide a welcome drink & mini bottles of Prosecco in your fridge but at the same time leaves you to relax & unwind at your leisure. The B&B itself is up quite a few steep stair/steps but that only makes the views all the better. Either room is fabulous, one with views of the sea, the other with views of the sea & the town, both with little balconies. It's literally right over the sea.

Pino had all the tourist information you would ever need, provided the best breakfast of our 20 nights Italian trip & had our rooms spic & span each day we returned with fresh towels daily. The room & bathroom were just fab.

Atrani is right next to Amalfi, just around the bend in the road, making it a little quieter & very relaxing, a 2 minute walk away. Then if you want the bustle of a busy tourist seaside town you can walk over to it. For my mum & I this was the perfect arrangement. We had a fabulous day walking up from Atrani to Ravello & back down, it is straight up the cliff from the town, mostly steep steps, took about 1.5 hours to get up at a good pace and very doable for a fit 60 year old!

This was my favourite B&B in Italy & the best I've ever stayed in :) please someone take me back!!!

After having stayed here a few years ago, we came back to La Scogliera and the stunning Amalfi coast in June, to a very warm welcome by our hosts Pino and Pina. We hope we will enjoy their hospitality, the cozy rooms and the stunning views many more times to come.
Pino gave us invaluable tips for the many hikes and excursions we undertook during our stay and gave us a unique insight into the culture and everyday life of the people who live on the Amalfi coast.
We loved the warm croissants and great coffee served for breakfast on the balcony, with a view of the beautiful Mediterranean sea just underneath the balcony.
Atrani, the village where La Scogliera is based, is a quiet and down-to-earth place, much in contrast to nearby Amalfi.
This is the perfect place to stay to explore one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world. Pina and Pino really make you feel at home. Pino, a la prossima!

I rented the entire B&B for myself, 4 teenage/adult children and son-in-law. Unfortunately, my husband couldn't join us on our 3-week trip until later.

This was a very special place because of the special care of the owners Pino and Pina and the outstanding setting on the Mediterranean Sea.

The location was in the smaller town of Atrani which was a welcome relief after our busy time in Rome. What makes it so wonderful though is it is just 10-minute walk to the bigger town of Amalfi.

We had a wonderful 4-day stay with the following activities:
1) We hiked up to the town of Ravello and enjoyed the spectacular views.
2) We took the ferry to Positano and spent the day there in town and on the beach.
3) Pino arranged a private boat & captain for an all-day excursion to Capri - Wow - a highlight!

Every morning I would wake up early, sit on the balcony watching the sunrise. I would then smell the wonderful fragrance of Pino's croissants baking while writing in my travel journal with a cup of coffee. Truly heaven on earth.

Our trip included 7 stops in Italy & Switzerland. La Scogliera provided wonderful personal service, amazing views, cleanliness and up-to-date amenities. Pino treated us as family. He made an effort to know my kids Elizabeth, Jared, Tom, Kathleen & Joe individually.

Couldn't recommend this place more highly.

Stayed here with 2 friends for 6 nights. Amazing accommodation, looked exactly like the pictures on the website, very well-appointed and stunning views. Pino and Pina were the most wonderful hosts, helping us to sort out sightseeing each day, assisting with more mundane things like laundry, and even giving us cold drinks and snacks at the end of a long day. Nothing was too much trouble, and we truly felt welcome. Breakfast was simple but delicious, croissants the best I've had anywhere. Would highly recommend Atrani as the place to make your base on the Amalfi Coast - lovely small village feel, but still very close to Amalfi and convenient for ferries and buses etc.
Don't stay anywhere else!

La Scogliera was by far our favorite B&B during our 3 week stay in Italy. Pino & Pina were the perfect hosts! The location is awesome for the traveler that wants to be in a quiet part of town but close to the action. From the warm croissants in the morning to the recommendations for restaurants and things to do by Pino, we had a great stay!! We will definitely be back!!
