“Fine dining in Atrani”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

We only spent one night in Amalfi on a rainy weekend in January and when we asked the owners of our hotel for a restaurant recommendation A'Paranza was among the two places they mentioned. It's just a 20-25min walk from Amalfi, located in the middle of the charming town of Atrani. We were the only ones that evening (I understand that it's normally booked out) and had the full attention of the waiter who made great recommendations which we followed and we didn't regret it. We had the catch of the day prepared the local way, fish carpaccio and a seafood pasta and a delicious wine from the Feudi di San Gregorio. It was one of those special eating experiences that you don't easily forget and we are still grateful for the recommendation and happily recommend the place to anyone looking for a really high quality local eating experience.

“Nice”

Seafood and a wine list to die for. Book a day or two ahead in person to get the best tables, starve yourself before hand - you're in for a treat!

“Best restaurant in Amalfi coast area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2012

This is the same restaurant as another one on tripadvisor named a paranza - so I want to be sure to give it the same excellent review as the one I just wrote ! The freshest seafood and delicious preparations with elegant but simple decor.

“Best restaurant in the Amalfi Coast area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2012

This restaurant in Atrani near Amalfi is fantastic. The freshest fish seafood prepared by a creative chef with subtle sauces and excellent side dishes. The restaurant was one of the few open during this low season, and we were so thrilled to find it. The decor and service are elegant but not overdone. The ceramic plates are beautiful and the wine is fine.

“Worth searching for”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2012

Tucked away a small distance from the piazza in Atrani on the Via dei Dogi, this seafood restaurant is well worth searching for. We ended up eating here twice on our stay on the Amalfi Coast, including our final farewell dinner.
Between our two visits we tried a variety of dishes: fried anchovies; fresh local fish with a potato crust; shrimp in chick pea pesto sauce; minced mixed seafood au gratin on the shell; and grilled fish with tomatoes and herbs; shared with a couple of nice bottles of reasonably priced local wine.
Our service was excellent: we had help in choosing our meals and our wine, and our server was attentive but unobtrusive, responsive and friendly.
This is a clean restaurant with a nice atmosphere, if a bit bright for a romantic evening. We'll return again.
