3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2013

We followed the signs along the road to Ravello to this Agriturismo place - looking forward to great Italian home cooked food. We had dinner and breakfast. Food quite mediocre. Restaurant setting quite uninspired. Family was really nice and welcoming. We stayed on night: Rooms nicely donen and clean. Lots of barking at night.

The Family Stoia gave us a wonderful welcome and made our stay memorable. We spent hours talking about Italian culture, and the local area. The food was very good and very local in style, but not expensive. The room was clean and very comfortable. The property is full of animals; goats, cats, dogs, chickens, pigs and this family makes the best Limoncello I have had. If you don't know this drink you have to try it and take a couple of bottles with you. You can buy Many home made items Like jams, confiture, wines, concerto (tonic alcohol) WOW. Not for the faint of heart! You will enjoy your visit!

My boyfriend and I came here for a new years vacation to the Amalfi coast with his family. The rooms were nice but we could hear everything in the room next door-which for us meant a crying baby. The food was, well, average. It was'nt as good as you would expect from an Agriturismo- which in Italy is expected to be a cozy stay with a family who serves you deliciously cooked homegrown meals. The location is...well, it's not great to be honest and the "Amalfitana" is a bit misleading because to get to the cities of Amalfi or Positano is at least a 45 minute ride of winding narrow roads and most of us were carsick and a few of us were puking by the time we got there. In the direct vicinity there is practically nothing. We wanted to take a nice evening stroll and the only thing we found open was a barber shop: no restaurants, no shops, no piazza to hang with the locals, nothing that you can expect from most quaint little towns in Italy. The family though was very nice and helpful and the actual room was clean and nice but not sure I would stay there again.
