we have booked the hotel for 3 weeks, all inclusive. When we arrived we got a room in the basement. if we would like too sit at the balcony, we stairred directly into a wall, that was our view-wauw. so after 3 days we asked for another room above ground. we got it after a lot of trouble- i have to say- we had to children with us in the age of 2 and 3, and when the have to go to sleep, there wasent any much fun in sitting on a balcony looking into a wall.
The hotel had promised local entertainment in the evenings. 1 time in those three weeks ,the hotel had entertainment- or what you would like to call it. a man sitting behind a piano. singing- my god he cuold not sing.
the food was terrible. for 14 days we were vegetarians. the bread was hard as a rock. the meat looked like s... most of the times it was covered in thick gravy. and what you got served in the evening you got for lunch the next day. there was not any for the children,
if you wold like something to drink. all you got was soda, 1 kind of beer, cheap cheap ouzo, and brandy..!!!!!! you could not buy anything else.
we were not the only people, who had this experience. we a lot of couples who ate out in kolymbia. it a very very nice town. so many friendly people. and we are going back to kolymbia, but never at this hotel fantasy.. never ever..
one great thing is that near by 5km, away the best beach on the hole island lies-tsambika beach.
on rhodos there is so many things to see or do-whether you are young or old..
we learned a lot, and what to expect from hotels..for me hotel fantasy is a 2 star hotel not 3 and a half.. it really has nothing at all to offer.
normaly i am not the type to complain. but we spendt 3000euros for the trip. and 3000euros in pocket money. beause we have to buy our own food. we did buy that much souvenirs
