“Luxury hotel that ticked all the boxes.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012

Wonderful luxury hotel in kolymbia. Very well trained friendly staff, a credit to the hotel. Great breakfast all you could wish for, perhaps not 5 star in the evening, however there was so much choice, it was never a problem. Beautiful swimming pools, but loved the beach only a short walk away, yes a few stones, but clean and safe. A lot of thought went into the clever design and exceptional lighting around the hotel. Sea views from our room, very relaxing after a busy day sightseeing, Very few children or English for that matter staying at the hotel.
Our first visit to Rhodes and I loved the island, welcoming and friendly people. I will check out the other hotels in the Sensimar group, it was without doubt worth every penny. Thank you Port Royal, it was indeed the best of times.

Room Tip: Hire a car from the hotel, the price was very competitive and they could not have been more helpful.

We stayed at the hotel during last August. It was very successful vacation.
The bungalows: completely new and the decoration is lovely. Its better to ask for a bungalow far from the swimming pool (and first line to the beach) since it's really noisy during the night (many folklore shows are taking place there).
The service: the hotel staff is pleasant and polite, they relate to their duty very seriously. The only problem is that the service is a bit slow. mainly in the dining room.
The swimming pool: amazing, the water are so clear, the snack bar is basic but nice (who can refuse fresh pine apple?). Nevertheless, outside the hotel there is a karaoke bar, and the horrible singing of the participants is not a great delight...
Other problem- from time to time there is a lack of towels.
The beach: the access to the beach from the hotel is comfortable, and the beach is lovely. Much better that the beach in Ixia.
The food: quite disappointing. The dishes are varied but not as tasty as there were in our former vacation in the island.
Children: the hotel is not suitable for children and families - and its is quite quiet comparing to other hotels. Yet, the babies swimming pool is great.
Cleaning: not very impressive,,,
Summary: the hotel is beautiful and well maintained - the disadvantages are minor.

Room Tip: Its better to ask for a bungalow far from the swimming pool (and first line to the beach) since it...

The hotel is nice, location is good, rooms are good, but if you like good dinners it's not the place.

Food is bad cooked and nothing special about, for this level of 5 stars I was expecting much better.

The beach is OK, consider stones when you get into water, not the best.

The swimming pool is nice and better that the sea beach.

Room Tip: Rooms that are close to the beach.

located in small town Colimbia just about 2km from main road, approximately in the middle of mediterranean coast. this is a constellation of bungalows around big fabulous swinning pool, very clean, incredable beautiful at the evenings with the million underwater lights. rooms are good enough, everithing very new, just one prob is airconditioner, may be good for most ppl but not not enough cool for us. service is perfect, staff helpful, waiters are good trained. food is delicious with collection of cheeses and kinds of meat. but not so good with fishes, seafood and fruits. hotel is situated right on the beach, free sunbeds and umbrellas for hotel clients. we spent nice days there, just rent a car and travel to aegean side, lindos, prasonisi and rhodes fort. the come back to hotel and relax in quiet place without any noise, kids cry and crazy discoteques

I just came back from a lovely weekend, the stuff was very nice, and they are always trying to help/
On the first night the food was't that good maybe because my wife and I don't like seafood, but all other night it was excellent.
The pool was amazing, the beach is quite and nice.
The hotel area is authentic, nice shops to go after dinner, with good prices.
I really don't have anything bad to say about this hotel & area.
Highly recommended.

Room Tip: better view on the first row to the beach.

Hotel is brand new.
Design numbers are very interesting, life was very comfortable. We had a room overlooking the sea from the balcony with magnificent views of beach and sea. The rooms are spacious, bright and clear that the designers worked with the taste.
Disadvantages of inconvenient bathroom, namely, modern plumbing (when you turn on the water in the sink spray flying in all directions), hair dryer with a phone that does not hang on the wall, as in most hotels, and lie next to the sink, always in the water. Due to the small wall in the bathroom, shower take awkward, all the water on the floor ... It's awkward and highly situated mirror. But in essence it's the little things for us special significance have not played and the overall impression is not affected. Room we had a great (an average of 2 times a day and linen changed every day), regardless of whether we leave a tip or not. It is very convenient that there is a grid on the balcony of any insects. Air-conditioning in the room the same way works fine, no complaints.

The hotel is open only for breakfast and dinner system. Breakfast is always standard conditions and monotonous, but the products are fresh and high quality.

On site 2 large outdoor pools (When the dark pools is very beautiful shimmering colored lights) and an indoor swimming pool (for a fee - 5evro a day or 15 per week) in the spa.

Beach sand and pebbles. It is more convenient, of course, enter into the sea in the spec. slippers, but without them nothing, too.

The main hotel guests, the Germans, under which all the "enchanted", staff in the first place speaks German, mostly pairs of 30 and above, quiet, quiet, decent people.

The hotel is located in Kolymbia, on the Mediterranean coast. The sea is calm, clean, perfect for swimming, each day was calm. The beach strip is wide enough and long and takes you to walk in the evening, go to other beaches or to run in the evenings (as many did).
Near the hotel there are several supermarkets and variety of souvenir shops, boutiques.
