This year I had my two x month long stays at the Filerimos yet again. This year was slightly different, there were a lot more Brits there and I pleased to say some of them had read my reviews and thanked me for putting them on to a good hotel ! About 95 percent said they were enjoying their stay, 80 percent said they would consider returning at some point and 20 percent said they were going to book for next year. The most common complaints I heard were that there was not enough English food and that on some days the weather was too hot,I did point out that we were 2000 miles from Britain and these things tend to happen,A kiddies corner is now implemented in the restaurant so hopefully will help alleviate some of the food problem although personally I don't have one,I love Greek food but then I eat Indian and Chinese food when in Britain.
The lovely gardens, pools and staff are well documented, so are the very basic (but clean) rooms so I'll not go over old ground but I would like to give a special mention to Anila and Maria newcomers to the pool bar, they were pleasant, hard working and liked by everyone.I've already booked my flight for the end of next May,so hope to meet a lot more Brits out there along with the Russian,Polish,French,Czech and of course the many Greek friends I've made.

The grounds and pool are lovely. The staff friendly. DO NOT go there self catering. Minimally equipped is charitable. The bedroom units are very tired and in need of refurbishment, although the maid service is daily, but they are fighting an uphill battle.
We didn't go all inclusive, as we don't find these to be good value, but there were mixed views from those who did.
Cheap, but not so cheerful

Cannot believe I have just had my tenth stay at Filerimos - two brilliant weeks! Never thought I would be one of these people who goes back to the same place, but am hooked on the friendship, fun and unpretentiousness I get at Filerimos.

Have mostly said it all in previous reviews - lovely staff, beautiful gardens, clean apartment, perfectly nice food. Best of all is the chance to catch up with other returning friends and locals who have become good friends. The 'Holiday Friends of Filerimos' site on Facebook which I set up a couple of years ago now has 150+ members, where we all keep in touch, and also offer advice to travellers who are contemplating a visit.

Manager George Zouroudis does an amazing job! The hotel was full to bursting this time, but to us guests, it all appeared to be running smoothly. Well done George!!

The majority of guests were French and Russian this time, with a healthy sprinkling of us Brits. Animation were lovely, but obviously geared to the majority and had a poor selection of karaoke choices - please do better next year and then I won't have to sing without music.

Went out for a couple of meals: Antonis was disappointing after being so good in June - there was a wedding party on so did not get our usual service or quality of food. The Alkionis in Ialysos was terrific - great food and a buzzing atmosphere. (Saw a great review for them in the early summer issue of the Ryanair magazine - much deserved!)

Visited Rhodes old town during the day and Saturday night/Sunday morning - terrific atmosphere as ever.

Hope to go back in late May and see everyone. This is fast becoming a second home.........

We have just returned from 2 weeks at the Filerimos, what a fabulous time!! Lovely clean spacious room, huge swimming pools, helpful friendly staff. Tasty food though the breakfast could be improved...yummy pancakes and fruit but hot dogs and fried ham not so good!...BBQ every night and an al fresco chef cooking pasta or rice etc delicious! Met some fabulous people inc the wonderful ladies in the snack bar Alina & Maria who made our holiday so special. This hotel is not 5* but it is clean and comfortable and we would not hesitate to return.
