We had two dinners back to back here in June 2013 and enjoyed the experience immensely. Both nights were busy. The service was so hospitable and with what we would describe as old world charm. The amusee bouche was a lovely bit of soup. The starters were shown to us on a large platter from which we could select what we wanted...there was a wide range. We can recommend the octopus carpaccio (sublimely cooked, beautifully dressed), fish row salad (full of flavour but creamy - good luck getting through it), eggplant salad (lovely smoky flavour) and Greek salad. For mains we devoured the sea bass, a seafood platter (containing grilled octopus, fried calamari, shrimps, prawns, seaweed salad), lamb chops and the slightly spicy beef kebab. All beautifully cooked, with 'simple' flavors that really allowed the ingredients to shine. We were too full to order dessert on both nights, so their solution was to bring out some lovely Greek biscuits. We must make a special mention of our waiter, Kristos, whose warmth and passion really shone through.
