We've just returned from our Greek Island hopping experience that included a stay at the Angela Suites hotel. I made the booking based on Trip Advisor & again I was very pleased with the selection.

We were traveling with another couple & the staff had us booked across the hall from each other...this made it perfect for sharing our happy hours together.

The suites were spacious & clean & quiet even for such a bustling city. It was an easy walk to Old Town as well as to the beach.

Stergos @ the reception desk was an outstanding asset to the hotel. If we asked him for something he took care of it immediately. If we were looking for advice as to where to go he had the answers.

It is a friendly place with guests trading helpful information when meeting in the lobby. The lobby served as a meeting area where you could join in to the extent that you wished. The terrace in front of the hotel made a pleasant place to sit & visit too.

The downside is that the showers don't have curtains, not unusual in Greece, but it certainly made for a wet bathroom.

In the morning coffee & cake were available to anyone visiting the hotel not just those participating in the breakfast. There was also bar service available.

If you have need of one, there's a laudromat (they do the laundry for 5 E per load) very close by (Happy Wash).

“Cozy & Friendly lodging in Rhodes Town”

Hotel Angela Suites

Apr 30, 2008

A cozy and family frienly lodging in Rhodes Town with ideal location for our walks and sightseeing around.
The rooms are very big and comfy and generally all the areas are very tidy and clean.
The pool is adequate but it is an alternative- rarely found- to swim in the heart of the city.
We contacted the hotel directly to book the room (family of 4) and I was amazed after all from the value for money.
We are definately looking forward to visiting Rhodes and Angela suites again.

“Loved the Angela”

We have stayed in a lot of 3 and 4 stars hotels in Greece and Europe and I can surely say that Angela Suites is one of the best among them. It is the newest 4-star hotel in Rhodes town, it has luxury and it’s extremely clean. The best part was the price: 40 euros per room per night, breakfast included, on May, which is middle season for Rhodes.

Location: Angela Suites is located in a very convenient part of the new town of Rhodes, 20 minutes by foot from the old medieval town and 3 minutes from the bar area, which is close for a walk but far enough to avoid the noise. Beach is a 5 minutes walk.

Rooms: The hotel has 35 self-catering suites, not rooms. That means that what you get is a specious, two room self-catering apartment. There is a separate bedroom, a living room with a fully equipment kitchen, a sofa, two tables and chairs and a big bathroom. The floors are wooden, which made the room very cozy and the decoration is modern. There is air-conditioning, TV with satellite channels, telephones in bed and in bathroom, cooking rings, refrigerator, 6 different kitchen appliances (coffee maker, toaster, food mixer etc), hair dryer etc. Our room had also a balcony with a nice view to the new town and the sea. The room was very clean and they change our towels every day.

Breakfast: The hotel does not has a restaurant but they offer breakfast in their lobby. Breakfast was good, consisted of coffee, juice and salt and sweet snacks.

Pool: There is a pool behind the hotel where you can swim or use the free chairs for sunbathing.

Staff: The staff is friendly, helpful and they make us feel welcomed.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay there and I absolutely recommend it to everybody visiting Rhodes for vacation or business.

“Among the better alternatives in Rhodes”

Hotel Angela Suites

Jan 18, 2007
6/6 found this review helpful

Was here on vacation in 2004, when the hotel was newly refurbished.

Angela Suites is a very nice hotel, especially by Greek Standards. It was clean, air-conditioned and the staff was friendly.

I have stayed in a few other Greek hotels which have all been kind of run-down, although they tout a three or four star rating.

Only drawback is that this hotel is about a mile from the beach.

I can recommend this hotel to all adult travellers looking for a comfortable stay in Rhodes.
