When visiting Rhodes Old Town we chose this restaurant due to the pushy manager but extensive menu. However, after 5 minutes of being seated we were bombarded by 3 cats eating a fish caucus under our table. The waiters could see we were disturbed but never assisted us. My friend ordered the chargrilled KiNg Prawns at cost of 24 euros to be presented with 4 prawns, a measly portion of chips and a lettuce leaf. When she dived into the prawns there was nothing to be eaten except mush! As a fan of prawns we both knew that this was not acceptable and cannot of been fresh. We called over the waiter to complain and asked them to take them away and only pay for the drinks and starters we had consumed. The waiter was rude, and replied " this is the portion in Rhodes" and refused to knock any money off.
We understand the prices would be higher in Old Town however, the service we received was unacceptable. We were served by 5 different waiters all of who appeared to have a language barrier as soon as we complained.
The total cost of the meal was 64 euros - 4 pieces of pitta bread, 2 Greek dips, 2 red wines, 1 white wine, 1 coke, mackerel and a barely edible prawn dish. This is the worst dining experience we have ever received anywhere and suggest the staff are trained better in customer service, and do not sending people away unfed.
