Rodofagia delivers what it promises: traditional homemade food in a cosy if not spectacular setting - but at treasonable prices. The swordfish and tuna was great - at €15 the steaks were enough for two, the Greek salad as good as any (funny why they put lettuce in it in Rodos town though - for the holiday-makers maybe), the house wine adequate, beer cold, ouzo is always ouzo & the garlic bread yummy! Amazingly many prefer to go nearby where the service is less than swift, it's crowded & the prices higher. But here the restauranteur is on the spot, smiling & helpful. His cook is a lady of few frills - but that's an attraction when grilling fresh fish. It's so good we went twice & it was the same level each time. Recommended especially if your budget is not sky high. ATB JohnP
