I spent four nights in the Raimondo room, always clean, confortable, and quiet.
Amazing breakfast with a large variety of food and the possibility to have whatever you like. Being very focused on food quality that was a great plus for my stay.
John, the owner, is a very polite smart man.
I reccomend Zacosta.

It really is little - only three rooms. That translates into perfect, personal service: everything is spotless, and the owner (John) is more a host than a hotel-owner, serving breakfast (large, fresh, excellent quality and variety) on demand, helping with taxis, supplying recommendations for car hire, restaurants and sightseeing - anything to make your holiday better. You get your own keys and can come and go as you please.
The hotel location is excellent, in a small, quiet side street in the old city (be aware that if you have a lot of luggage, you will have a short walk - 2 to 3 minutes - to where you can get a taxi).
We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough: my wife and I stayed 10 days, and from arrival (to find a bottle of wine and glasses waiting for us) to departure (John insisted on coming very early to ensure we met our taxi to the airport) we have nothing but praise.

Room Tip: There basically aren't any bad rooms - the only difference is size.

Zacosta is a gem: comfortable, very quiet, and in the middle of the old walled city. The owner, John P., is very knowledgeable and a warm, cordial and supportive host. His patio breakfasts are wonderful. Rooms are fine: roomy, and well-lit, very comfortable beds. Our group was extremely pleased in all respects; we would all enjoy a return trip -- especially in the off-season period, when tourists are few.

I recently stayed there with my wife, two kids and parents and would highly recommend it. John is a very generous and knowledgeable host. The location of the hotel is ideal and the rooms are well appointed and very cozy. As other reviewers have noted, the breakfasts are fantastic. A great, low-key yet extremely comfortable place to stay.

My partner and I stayed at the Zacosta Villa for a short break in September. The owner - John - really is the perfect host. The location is great. The rooms are lovely. The court yard is heaven - ideal to sit back and relax in if you want a break from the hustle and bustle. The breakfast was superb - what a spread. Luxury bathgowns, slippers & toiletries.
The ideal place to stay if visiting Rhodes. Would love to go back one day, and would definitely return to the Zacosta Villa Hotel.

Room Tip: We had a ground floor room and as a result had our own door out to the court yard which was great. W...

My Husband and I stayed at the Zacosta Villa Hotel for a few nights in January for our honeymoon.. We had the most wonderful time at the Zacosta Hotel.. Please stay here!! You will not be disappointed! John was a fantastic host! He waited for us to arrive in our cab then carried out luggage for us to the hotel! We had a bottle of wine waiting for us at the room when we got in.. The room was so cozy and perfect for us! The Location of the Zacosta Hotel was very convenient! It was very easy for us to walk wherever we needed to go.. John also recommended some tour guides and cabs for us.. I also need to add that the breakfast was amazing!!! Thanks again John!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Villa Zacosta at the end of October. John is a fantastic host who made us very welcome in many ways during our stay, including meeting our taxi early in the morning of our arrival, giving us advice on things to do and see, in driving us to the docks for our trip on Dodecanese ferries on the morning of our day trip to Symi- (we loved it).upgrading our room for part of our stay, and providing us with accommodation for two additional nights at the same rate when our original travel plans were disrupted by the Bangkok floods.
While our rooms were small they were well appointed and the courtyard, the breakfasts – and the weather-were just wonderful. We wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in Rhodes Town.
