I stayed at the Stamos Apartments for two weeks with a friend at the beginning of September. We didn't know what to expect and after arriving at 5am we were soon put at ease by the friendly staff who were waiting at the (24hr) bar. Our passports were taken in exchange for our room keys which is pretty normal.
The rooms were brilliant and were kept very clean. They were refurbished pretty recently and are honestly of a high standard - air con can be bought separately and I would strongly recommend buying this as it does get very hot at night! The hotel is situated approximately 10 minutes walk to the beach and club street and only about 2 minutes walk to the nearest restaurant so everything is easily reachable!
The hotel is self catering but there is a supermarket across the road and food and drinks served in the bar. Only pizzas are served late at night, but during the day they have a BIG choice of food if you don't want to eat out! The pool is extremely clean and the hotel provides music during the day and holds a pool party 'day' event once a week ... And there is an abundance of sun loungers by the pool - so no one is left without one! As it is mostly an 18-30's hotel, there are a lot of young people, but there was never any loud noises or drunken behavior!
Above all with Stamos, I would say their best feature is the quality of the staff - never have I been made to feel more at home at a hotel. I was bitten badly by mosquitoes and the staff couldn't do enough to help me - from giving me creams to put on my legs, to a scented candle to put on our balcony ... All free of charge! Mostly, they are easy to chat to, always there for help or advice on what to see and do around Faliraki and as it is a family-run hotel, there is a warm and friendly atmosphere all around the hotel.
Never staying anywhere else - looking forward to Faliraki 2014!
