We arrived at 2 am and what we saw first were DRUNK youngsters walking in every direction near the hotel, staggering and shouting. This place is the centre of nightlife, so if you want a quiet vacation, it's definitely not for you.
When we wanted to check in, we found that no one was at the reception desk. Then we realised the poor reception guy was sleeping on a couch nearby. The check in was a problem, because this guy could barely speak English. We were accomodated in a room facing the street, so we could hear all the music from the discos (the street is actually PACKED with discos, they're everywhere). We were scared to enter the room, it was dark and very very old, the furniture was falling apart (well what can you expect from a 2*...)
Next morning we talked to our guide and the hotel manager and we were accomodated in another room, with garden view, which was much more quiet, and had newer furniture.
The breakfast was very very poor, we preferred to eat out or have some snacks instead. In the hotel we had a choice of corn flakes, bread with ham and cheese, sour cream and milk and some fizzy water.
The room was not very well cleaned, sometimes we had a lack of toilet paper. Once we saw a lizard in the bathroom! But still if you go and ask the receptionist or manager, the room will be cleaned and they will give you what you need.
What we liked is the location: couple of minutes walk from the beach. The sea is clean and perfect, very calm! There's a lot of fun water rides on the beach for every taste. We tried the FlyFish and Paragliding (it was awesome, you can see the coast from the air, very beautiful). There's also a bike rent in Faliraki. In the tourist agency you can book boat trip with glass bottom (although you can't see a lot throught the glass, you can dive and snorkel when the boat makes stops). And don't miss the journey to Simi island!
Around the hotel there are plenty of supermarkets (you can buy everything: from toothpicks to waterbed), fast foods (McDonalds, KFC, Subway, PizzaHut), bars, restaurants, internet cafes. In a 30 minutes walk or so, there's an Amusement Park.
If you want to party all night, this hotel is just great for you. If you're going to spend much time outside of the hotel, to travel around the island and relax on the beach, this hotel can be OK for you (apart from the food). In no way I would recommend it for family with children.
